My Bestie bought me here because she has been coming here since she was young I just ordered the peach cobbler (small) boy did I regretted that I should have gotten a large it was sooooo good I told everybody I talked to about this place I got up early today (08.05.23) just to make it there after th
The food is soooo good and they serve large portions too. I am so glad that my daughter introduced me to this place for soul food because it is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Just a shack off memorial but holy cow is their food amazing! Beef ribs are my fave and their Mac n cheese is best in Atlanta. Never had even a mediocre dish here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
The place is quaint, intimately small allowing for personable service even if they're busy, everyone was super friendly, and most importantly they serve what is without a doubt the best barbecue sandwich that has ever passed my lips
I’ve lived in Atlanta for 26 yrs and drove by this spot a million times. But, I stopped in to do some business with a friend and decided to get something. I really wasn’t hungry and as a vegetarian all I wanted were some greens that didn’t have meat in them. I was told I could order quite a few th
Old school hole-in-the-wall down home GOOD cooking!!! Everything you'd expect if you're looking for good food and friendly service. I travel to get here and suggest you do the same. The ambiance is part of the charm! And REAL peach cobbler!
Great food. I was passing by and didn’t know they were still open. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious just as I remembered it from years ago. I will be back
Food was good very good but they need to have better personal when they sold out of everything by 6pm lol and don’t ask questions lol and they don’t know where the bathroom key is lol
I have been a customer for over 20 years. I absolutely love their food...so much that I visit every week. I always receive a warm welcome and excellent service.
Not gonna lie, the food is still great and has been for years but I'm getting worried about the service. First, the prices have went way up which, ok, I'll deal with because everywhere has risen but today you upcharge me for putting my coleslaw in a separate cup which mind u I didn't ask you to do?
Do not judge and don't even think about looking for the health score. Just get in line. Walk up the old wooden ramp and through the raggedy screen door. Place an order for some of the best bar-b-q chicken to ever grace your lips, macaroni and cheese done-right AF, sweet candied yams with nutmeg and
Down South cooking at its finest! I love going there when I'm in town!
It's shack food. Not fancy, but it soothes the soul. If you plan on showing up at opening, call ahead to make sure the ribs and chicken are ready. One of our favorite places to go when we want a good meal, served by good people. Recommend getting sauce on the side.
Oh yea…. This food is AMAZING! Ms. Andrea is right… We will be back! Regularly!
Some of the best BBQ I've had in Atlanta - you have to get the ribs with the sauce. Mac and Cheese and Candied Yams were great. Portions are huge. I definitely recommend this place and will be back.
