The food here is great and the staff are very friendly. They are taking impressive measures to keep things clean and safe, which is so appreciated. Great stop after the dog park!

This is a wonderful place to bring your dog and grab a beer. The service has always been lovely and the food is arguably the best near Piedmont Park. I would love to see this place thrive, so l, disregard the bad reviews!

So in this space I view it as a tucked away gem, that's waiting for others to rediscover Amsterdam Cafe... I believe the staff are great the food good as bar food can be....
But in all things Atlanta, people look for how something can be reborn like a phoniex from the ashes...
So in that I would say give them a chance, they are Gay friendly if that matters to you, right off a section of the beltline....
My Humus wrap and bean salad was good to me...

We come by often......good food, great Sunday brunch......good service! Best pancakes in Atlanta. And BTW people.....its a bar....if you're prissy and expect a gourmet meal and 1st class wait staff don't be so cheap, go to a real restaurant.

Fantastic gay bar with great food and an enormous selection of beers. Super friendly staff. Large TVs make it a great place to watch sports. Great location on the edge of Piedmont Park.

Great neighborhood bar and patio. Very "Cheers" friendly vibe especially among the regular patrons and staff. Perfect spot to chill before or after a day at the park and Beltline. They always have my favorite beer and lemon pepper wings!!! Good food at decent prices in Midtown. Can't beat it!

Great place, Nick gave fantastic service. The patio was a very relaxing time with great friends. The food was pretty dang good as eell. I highly recommend Amsterdam Cafe!!

Been going here for years since being introduced during a Mobile Social cycling event. Love to go to the patio and have a drink and burger on warm Atlanta nights. I would rate five stars, but the "swampydome" has a bit of negative smell influence when the wind is right. Great drinks, great food.
As to the "poor service cause you aren't white claim". I call bullshit and tell you to get over yourself. Considering the demographic that goes here (straight, gay, white, black, etc) it's probably one of the most tolerant establishments I have ever been in. Fairly obvious that someone was just looking to have feelings hurt and wasn't aware of where they were, really.
