Benchwarmers Sports Grill

Great bar and resturant. I have meet very interesting and diverse people at the bar. The food is great and very reasonable! Doest not feel like a "bar" more a friendly place to meet new people. My boyfriend and I often strike up a converstion those and either side of us. I am happy we found Bench Warmers. New people all the time but the bartenders "know your name" Cheers!

Quite a pleasant surprise to my tastebuds. Don't always judge the book by its cover. Not much of a looker, but the kitchen definitely delivers some really tasty bar food. I, and my 77 year old momma, really enjoyed our lunch the other day. Maybe they could do a little spring cleaning this year. ;)

I haven’t been here since the last World Cup in 2018. It was really good then and is still today! This is your classic sports bar layout. Huge seating area as well as bar. In the back more seating, and pool tables. Like the website says they have TVs everywhere. I had the wings that I had four years ago and we had the Philly cheesesteak eggroll appetizer, as well as potato soup. I want you to look at these photos. Those wings are huge cooked perfectly outside crispy inside tender. The potato soup was really delicious, tasted homemade. Those Philly cheesesteak eggrolls are the bomb! 💥 I’ve had them in every bar when I’ve seen them on the menu. These are full of meat, taste just like the cheesesteak. meat, not a bunch of fillers. I would come back just for them! The service is great. Attentive. We were there during dead hours but I can imagine being a sports bar like they are when they need their servers they’ll be ready ready. They are located in an old school shopping center. So don’t be turned off by that. Everything around them is vacant close down as they’re going to demolish in the future. Right now they are the only place open in there. The parking lot is dangerous in the sense of lots of lose concrete and pot holes holes, so be careful.

With it being only 10 mins away, this place is a hidden gem.. . At least it was for me. From entrance, I was pleased. Nice sports bar setting with TVs everywhere and comfortably spaced out seating. The wait staff was friendly and the food was mostly good. I had a lil conversation with the cook regarding my food selections, and hopefully he'll take heed and fix a few things before I return 😘. There's also a little smoking area in the front, just before you walk in. You're able to pay a small fee to take control of the music selection and set your own atmosphere. With all of that said, I will definitely return, sooner rather than later.
