This is a great sushi restaurants with plenty of options. The service was great, although we went there a bit late and the waitress was very nice. The prices were reasonable. Make sure you try the Negitoro roll and spicy tuna. There was no wait time on a weekday and they quickly served the food. Sake was served in small glasses although it was not as strong as hard liquor, so you might want to order sth else or get the bottles.

Been taking our kids here since they were in elementary school. Still a neighborhood gem and the yummiest spot for a great date nite too. Can def say the food is great for takeout too. But the quaint patio is going to the perfect evening fall spot !! Favorites: spicy tuna Tatare and in the roll, crab salad, salmon don, truffle pompano sashimi app and the edamame and ginger dressing with new Shroom green bean roll for our non fish eating family member.

The service was great! Our servers were friendly and attentive. Sushi was okay. Although, it seemed fresh. I would highly recommend their fried sweet chili shrimp and their green tea cheesecake cake. Will be returning to try out their other sushi!

Wonderful friendly service, plenty of fresh, delicious options, and a pleasant atmosphere. The golden pompano sashimi with truffle oil and the wakame su salad are must tries!! This place is consistently fantastic. Cannot recommend it enough!

This is the best place to come warm up and enjoy a tasty great quality meal. I loved the customer service and complimentary appetizers for it being my first visit. Come support places that make you feel at home. 10/10!!!

Possibly the best sushi I've ever had. The staff was incredibly courteous and friendly. Definitely not something I could afford on a regular basis, but the experience here made an already special occasion even more special.
Treat yourself to the warm sake! I'm grateful for the experience.

First time to Starfish, ordered steak hibachi and hot Sake..the price seemed to be a bit on the upper range at $32 but turns out it is good enough for two people! The salad that came with the hibachi was sooo good, I have never had such a great dressing on my salad before, the steak was so tender and juicy! 10/10, would recommend if you like Asian food and Sake!

I'm updating this review having eaten here 10+ times now, and I'd argue this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Atlanta. If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend the omakase. That said, you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu.

We love this place; the special sushi rolls are great, wakame su very good and the chicken teriyaki is excellent and copious. Good selection of Sake and wines. The service is very friendly and we love their music choices. Our go-to place for a nice dinner in Buckhead!

Phenomenal sushi!! The "Girl on Top" was amazing (in more than one way) and the "Finding Nemo..." ooph, slap your momma good. Also indulged in the seafood udon noodles (spicy) - man, so good!! The music cast great vibes throughout the dining area as well. 5 stars - Highly recommend - will be back.

Amazing fresh sushi and sashimi, the best I have had in Atlanta. I eat sushimi 1-2 times a week and I would go here every time if I could. The wait is a bit long but it is well worth it

Excellent service in a really nice, romantic atmosphere. There are tons of choices for sushi, and certainly enough non-sushi options for those who need it. The price is right for a sushi spot as well. Will be going again!

Went for dinner, the restaurant was half empty. The hostess asked us to sit in the waiting area while they get a table ready and there were clearly 5-7 open tables. Waited for about 10 mins and then walked back home.... I guess they aren't hurting for new business. Won't be back.

Location is bad, service is bad, waiter/hosting is bad and most importantly sushi is bad yet the worst I have ever had. Lot's of other places to go. Please don't waste your time and money.

A very pleasant atmosphere with friendly service. The food is good and the plate presentation is beautiful. This is the first sushi restaurant I've been to in Atlanta so I can not give a price comparison to other restaurant's. Personally I would recommend trying the Yellow Tail.

This place is awful and the service was hardly present. We ordered 3 rolls and a seafood noodle dish. One roll showed up 15 minutes later. The other 2 showed up after another 15 minutes and when the noodles showed up another 15 minutes later they had spicy chicken on them instead of seafood. Needless to say, my family eventually are their rolls but I had to come home and make my own dinner. What really gets me is that they offered no apology or compensation, and threatened to call the police if we didn't pay. We will never go back and I don't suggest you do either.

Oh man...I lived in Japan for six years and I've never found fresher sushi in Atlanta!! Fantastic sushi and rolls. Very friendly staff and fast service. Stay away...this place is mine!!!

You will wait forever. The service is really really bad here. It will take you all night to eat here because the service is VERY slow. I was so hungry by the time I got my sushi, which I wasn't impressed with either. Sushi = Not worth the wait here

Bento Lunch. Dropped by Starfish Sake and Sushi for lunch. Parking is not obvious, but is very easy. Its behind the restaurant (enter the portico between Restaurant Eugene and H&F, up the ramp into the parking deck to the spots reserved for Starfish with a walkout at Starfish).<br/><br/>Very nice space, very nice folks. Went for the Sushi and Sashimi Bento lunch special that was very generous for a lunch special, though not particularly adventurous as you can pretty much predict for a lunch special picked out by the sushi chef. Sushi and Sashimi was very fresh and, as I said before, generous. If I was in the neighborhood, I wouldn't have any second thoughts about returning.
