Without a doubt the best pizza I've ever had. Not just in Atlanta; this is the best pizza I've ever had anywhere. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the dough is handmade on the spot, the service is fast, and the flavours are absolutely mouthwatering. Getting to watch them make and bake the pizza is lots of fun, and the ambience of Krog creates an atmosphere of coziness making this the perfect night out.

🍕 Margherita Pizza: Flavor is great, thin and crust tastes great. However, I’d wish to have more mozzarella cheese on top

🥗 Varuni Salad: The dressing is amazing. A
smoky flavor, would definitely get the salad again
🍰 Tiramisu is very authentic to Italian flavor. Not too sweet, and very soft and creamy
100% authentic Italian pizza + the staff is super friendly and exceptional at handling multiple customers at once. I wish I could put into words how good this pizza is and I absolutely resent traditional “pizza” so I was skeptical about trying this place. Absolutely melts into your mouth, authentic ingredients, and low-gluten content in the flour — which is so rare for a pizza place. If you haven’t tried Varuni Napoli, you are seriously deprived of the best pizza. I am personally a Margharita pizza fan. I’ve probs been here 3x in the past year. Seriously just go, you will not regret it! (No photos here — It’s so good I literally cannot let my phone eat first.)
Wow I’m blown away by the pizza here. Super thing and chewy with a great sauce. If you are looking for pizza that has a similar taste and feel to the best pizza in NYC this place comes close.
The best pizza in NYC is coal fired and thin. This place does a good job coming close. It’s still not NYC pizza but wow I was surprised.
WiFi and cell service is pretty terrible in the building.
I've had a lot of good pizza in my life, with my top 3 places in GA being MPC, Amicii's, and Pasta Bella. But, this place blows them out of the water! I have never had a more authentic or more delicious pizza in my life! Props to the chefs and staff, they have perfected pizza!
I think of all the places at Kroger, this is a solid choice. The pizza was simple but delicious. The crust had a beautiful crust and toast to it. The cannolis were super tasty and easy to share. I didn’t feel that they were too sweet and they had the perfect amount of filling. If I had to choose a favorite, it’d be the pistachio cannoli because of the delicious contract between the cream and pistachio. I was a tourist, but after trying all the food that my family got and tried, I would come back to this place.
I ordered the Nonna Mia and oh my goodness was it amazing! I’ve never been to Italy, but I imagine this pizza is as close to what you’d get in Naples as anything. The amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings was perfect. The homemade meatball was so flavorful. The buffalo mozzarella was melty and silky smooth. The sauce…..man. That San Marzano ragu was was unlike anything I’ve ever had. The crust was something I could have happily eaten plain, and I’m not a huge crust guy. I ordered at the counter. Service was good and very quick. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. If you find yourself at the Krog Street Market, grab yourself a pizza. I’m not sure how it will be left over. But, even if it’s half as good as it is fresh, it will still be better than almost any pizza out there. And the only reason there are leftovers is because we got something to try from another restaurant.
The staff was friendly and the pizza was good, but I think the speed impressed me most. My pizza was done in less than 5min and it was yummy. I got the Spacca Napoli.
Great service here, though I went when it wasn't too busy. I ordered the fried calzone with Italian sausage and peppers. Overall a tasty lunch. One person could definitely eat a whole calzone here and at $12 that's a bit high for one meal but it is Atlanta so all in all that's not bad. They also have a fair amount of bar height seating which is convenient!
Amazing pizza place inside Krog Market. Loved the attention to detail with the ingredients. Great location indoors especially on a rainy or a cold day.
They do make pizza with raw hands no gloves. I am okay with it but if your not stay away !
