La Pastorcita - Atlanta - Photo album

Mexican diner-like restaurant with casual environment. The food took a little bit to arrive and was fresh/hot. The food itself was good but not the greatest Mexican food you’ll find in the area. The salsas were not very spicy. The horchata was really good. However, the warm corn tortillas were the b
Very authentic and traditional. My date explained that it's been family owned for generations! That makes my soul smile. The menu headings were primarily in Spanish, so I was overly grateful for the English descriptions. The food was very fresh and very spicy. That caught me off guard. We will be b
We got the Toluqueño Torta (Mexican sandwich with chorizo, roasted pork leg and cheese) with flautas de pollo (freshly shredded chicken rolled in a corn tortilla, fried, topped with sour cream and freshly grated cheese). Tasty, fast service… would come again!
Have to give 5 stars because the place is very authentic. There's very little English spoken, but it works. The Carne a Tampiquena was phenomenal. The steak was very good with a ton of flavor, as were the beans and cheese enchiladas. Will be back again for sure.
Nice little place with great decorations as we went there through holidays. They have great beer collection and the food was good too. I liked their chicken nachos, it was delicious than our regular entrees. The quesadilla was okay, didn’t like it so I got it packed and there goes one star deduction
The Caldo de res (beef soup) is always amazing! Steaming hot bowl with chunks of beef so tender, you can slice through them with a fork! Loaded with chunks of vegetables in a slightly spicy broth! Perfect for this time of year!!
Nice little place with an awesome ambience. There's a nice jukebox that's always playing some great Mexican tunes or you can submit your own requests. They offer imported beers, and the food is very good. Try their tacos (steak tacos are pictured)! The best part is that they are actually open pretty
Wow, my fish taco 🌮 was delicious. Their house salsa is mouth watering. Very busy but friendly service and great food.
Best tacos in Brookhaven area. Al pastor and chorizo were my favorite.
Tonight I stayed for dine in and ordered Enchiladas. They were really good and the green sauce is pretty hot. The serving was huge and worth the $. I always get late night tacos from this place, and they are tasty, affordable and open late hours, which is very convenient. I absolutely recommend
I like this place. Definitely authentic. Very little English spoken. Food is always good. Daughter got the fried fish...she was taken aback by the head still being on it, but then enjoyed it. I get a mexiacana something. Basically steak tacos. Very good. Prices are a little high, but I'm fro
It's always the unassuming places that blow you away. A hidden gem here on Buford Highway! We grabbed some barbacoa/chorizo/steak tacos, flautas, and beers. HIGHLY recommend!
Amazing place... with amazing food! Chorizos tacos and the carnitas quesadillas...mmm. Definitely a come back. Too many dishes to try... will take me several visits. Convenient for late late dinner, closing at 1am but kitchen closes around 12 midnight. Waitress... the best! Friendly and smiling.
Been here a few times now and while the food is good, there seems to always be quite a bit of a wait. Granted, it's also always brimming with guests so that's definitely a factor. The food is not just typical fare of tacos and burritos. There are a lot of familiar plates, as well as funny-name takes
