On a mid-afternoon on a Saturday the display case did not have much to choose from. We picked a peach tartlet and coffee drinks. The sitting area is spacious and they offered wifi access. We picked the area with windows and mixed seating (Parisian coffee table, then armchair/sofa switch) to sit and do research for next day adventures. Appreciated the cleanliness of the toilets and self-service water.

Things you should know:
I. LOCATION
Its on the back portion of a plaza off of Roswell Rd. The parking lot is out front of the cafe and we found a couple available spots rather easily.
II. SERVICE
The service is why I gave this place 5 stars! Alfar was our coffee barista today. He was VERY passionate about his job--I say this because he gets to know his customers and asks genuine questions. It makes you feel valued and just sets a welcoming tone for your visit here. We stayed until the bakery was about to close and instead of throwing away the baguettes left over from the day, Alfar offered us a couple to take home..! I've never been to a location so generous.
III. QUALITY
Assuming the staff gave us some baguettes at closing time, they must bake everything fresh daily. The fruity petite four pastry I bought wasn't dry at all. Very impressed.
IV. CAPACITY
We found seating during the mid-afternoon on a Thursday. The booths can get very comfortable for long stays.

Very nice French Café and Bakery hidden in the Chastain Park neighborhood. What’s really cool is you can see the kitchen and see pasties being made right before your eyes. The decor and ambiance put you right in the middle of Paris. We actually met Hamid (the owner). Very nice guy and very in tune to his clientele. I implore you to stop in and try one of their tarts.
If you see Food 101, just drive behind the building and the café is at the end of the building.

The food in terms of something like the panini, is alright, definitely not their specialty. If you’re coming here, come for the coffee and the pastries. The service is phenomenal and the atmosphere is perfect for a morning get together, or a silent study session. The price is questionable and many of the things on the menu (especially the food) are overpriced. This establishment is a cafe and bakery, I would not recommend it as a restaurant.

Very nice ambiance, spacious, but... they don’t have apple turnovers (which is very French... probably no demand in this area), mocha coffee was VERY bland for a mocha, and costs more than average... I was pleased though with the chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat).

If you’re looking for real French pastry in Atlanta, this is the place. Their coffee, pastry and sandwiches are excellent. The service is good and quick. The place is elegant, clean and cozy. Highly recommend it. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I have repeatedly heard good things about Cafe Vendome but I had never passed through the doors to try it. The service was outstanding and truly exceeded by the quality of food. The food was well prepared and delicious to the last bite. The only downside we experienced is some menu items were unavailable: ingredient shortages or sold out for the day. Remarkably, when my wife heard her item was not available they asked whether they might make something similar that is not on the menu. What they created was almost the same and also delicious. I look forward to coming back soon!

Authentic French bakery. Delicious rich pastries and coffee. Great breakfast spot. Busy. Helpful staff. Prepare to wait in line. Lovely atmosphere. I took an almond croissant, almond and chocolate croissant, egg and gruyere croissant sandwich, baguette, exotique, rubis and vanilla latte to go. Everything was delicious. The croissants and latte were the best of everything I tried. Perfect baguette. Chocolate and almond croissant was perfectly balanced.

VIBE- super cute place. Perfect for a casual date or brunch. They make their own pastries!!!! You can see big windows into their kitchen area.
COVID- all open areas. No walls between tables or anything though it looked decently spaced out. They have outdoor seating.
Service was really slow but during covid, I understand.
FOOD- I only had pastry and it was DELICIOUS. The food on my neighbors table looked rly yummy. The only sad thing is they have bottled cold brew. It is not freshly made there.

It wouldn’t have been 5 stars but the service could be better. Everything was delicious 😋 but for the money I thought this shouldn’t feel like a fast food place type of service. When I ask for napkins, sugar, and a small extra plate don’t look me like I am crazy. Otherwise, this place is awesome.

As if the espresso wasn't the best in Atlanta, the staff is wonderful. They go above and beyond to create a relaxing environment. They treat both me and my daughter (3.5) as if were the only customers. She couldn't watch y'all bake all day if I let her. THank you for bringing this gem to Sandy springs.

Food was excellent, staff slow and taking long breaks or talking among their selves and ignoring guests during the lunch rush, but we hear the owner was out of town, so shame on the staff for dropping the ball while the owner is away. I will give it another try when the owner is back.

LOVE this new spot. I'm a foodie and a lover of fine French things. This place as THE best baguette in ATL (I've tried them all! Second place goes to Amelies). The atmosphere is delightful, the service attentive and trying hard. And you find French speaking people there- I was surprised to hear so many. The pastries are excellent, as are the brunch menu items. Oh, and yes, they pull a lovely espresso...

Had a great first visit to the café today with a friend who told me about it. Hamid, the owner is so engaging and welcoming. The coffee and pastries were fabulous, and the ambiance was very warm and inviting. We met several people, and it was so easy to strike up a conversation at the communal table where we sat. We also found out that the chef is an award winning French chef/baker. What a treat to be able to have the true French café/bakery experience in Sandy Springs! This is going to be my go to neighborhood café.

Très délicieux! I heard about them through my Yelp e-mai notifications and was excited to check them out. I went last Saturday and purchased the quiche with chicken and chorizo, a berry financier, a chocolate chip financier, a raspberry tart, and a couple of lemon macaroons (yeah French bakeries are not good on my wallet!) Anyway my favorite was the berry financier. I could eat those all day, every day. I was hoping to try a raspberry macaroon, but I guess the flavors rotate so I'll just have to come back. My only complaint was that the chicken in the quiche was dry. The cafe has beautiful interiors and lots of options. Was very impressed! Can't wait to try more menu items!

The food is very good and fresh. A lot of delicious varieties for sandwiches. The veggie one is really good. Very clean space.The atmosphere is great, a lot of space and high ceilings. Our kids love the pastries. Everything it seems, including the bread is made in house and you can tell, fresh real food. Staff has been very friendly. The owner made us feel quite welcome.
