I have found pizza heaven. I really thought I was resigned to mediocre pizza forever once Treza closed its doors...until today. I took one bite of Avellino's Rustica pizza and realized I would be bound forever by its savory deliciousness. Thin crust, but not too crispy. Big enough to share, but you won't want to. Dollops of creamy, melty, mozzarella yumminess. My dining companion tried their gluten-free crust option and declared it glorious. YOU GO NOW!

Always great food and even better service! Wonderful apps, entrees and wine/beer selection. A staple in my restaurant rotation.

Pizza was good. Crust is really good but I prefer my pizza a bit different. They also don't have pork pepperoni which most traditional wood fire pizza places have. Ordered the rustica and a make your own. Desserts are also very very good! Service was probably the best thing at this place though!

I was hoping the Neopolitan style pizza would be a match to those I had in Italy. I had even higher hopes as two of my favorite pizzerias were near via Avellino, a street in my town. Alas, not quite the thin, soft crust in the middle and chewy, fluffy crust around the outside for which I hoped. The pizza is good compared to most American pizzas, so I would recommend. Moreover, the bar and restaurant have some great people and I loved the environment. Were it not a family party that I was taking the pizzas to, I would very much like to visit and hang out. Maybe next time.

The staff took amazing care of us! Everyone, not just our server, and including the owner, was incredibly attentive to us. We loved the burrata and you can tell the pizza is hand made. Amazing flavor even just in the crust! MUST give this place a try!

This review is for takeout only. We ordered online at 7:45 pm on a Saturday and it was ready in 20 minutes. Here’s what we got: - Burrata ($12.50): Good, but probably not worth $12.50. - Eggplant Parmigiana ($16.50): Average, especially for the price. I’ve definitely had better in the Atlanta area. Came with a side salad which was literally lettuce and tomatoes. At least give me some cucumbers, maybe even some onions. - Create a Pizza with mushrooms & pineapple ($12.50 + $2 for toppings): The sauce was super good and sweet. Again, not sure $14.50 for a 12-inch pizza is worth it. The Create a Pizza should come with at least 2 toppings built-in. Expensive for not the best food. The pizza was good, but everything else was eh.

This is our friends favorite pizza place so he invited us to try it. It was a bit of a hike as we live in Midtown but worth it. We started with some appetizers and then we ordered the pizza and wine combo three times. The combo comes with one pizza and a wine bottle for $40. Totally worth it. It was six of us and we drank all three bottles. The pizzas are sized that you can share with someone or have one by yourself. You may not finish it but leftovers are always good. I would highly recommend trying it out.

Avellino's is a little off the beaten path but definitely worth plugging the address into your GPS and finding it. Service was friendly and attentive with the food coming out very quickly. Excellent wood fired pizzas complimented with an exceptional beer selection.

The place had great food and excellent service. The staff were very courteous and made sure that we were always attended to. This was despite the restaurant being completely packed. The food was excellent as well. Both pizzas we had we're of very high quality. The garlic bread here was exquisite. Would definitely visit again soon!

Great local Italian pizza with a nice bar and outdoor patio. Tucked behind Ashford Dunwoody, the portions are perfect. Small enough that you wonder if it'll fill you up, and large enough that you walk away satisfied. Large and boisterous neighborhood bar with a very welcoming charm and friendly staff

Very welcoming and kind staff, amazing Margherita, and the best white pizza I’ve ever had. Crust is elite, sauce is incredibly flavorful, and cheese and basil were such fantastic quality.
