This is a great spot for southern food with a unique flair. The place is small on the inside but there is some additional seating outside as well. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We got the ribs and the fried chicken. We also tried the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were amazing. They were crispy, citrusy, and fresh. A must try there. The friend chicken was moist and the macaroni that came with it tasted homemade. The ribs had a nice sauce to it and the beans had a great flavor as well. The drink I got was fruity and sweet but not overpowering. We loved our food and had a great time here!

My waiter was extremely friendly, as was the hostess. Came on a not too busy Sunday, so was seated immediately. Fried green tomatoes were amazing! The fried chicken omelette had no fried component because it was chopped so finely and missed any crunchy texture. I don't think the menu said it comes with potatoes. They're dry and average. I would have substituted them for a side of greens. The greens a top the omelette were to die for, could eat them all day! Had the "Oh My Darling" cocktail and loved it. Hoped to order the South African sparkling wine mentioned on their online menu, but it was out of stock. I would come back, found street parking just out front, uphill a few steps away - very convenient.

I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident; heading to another location, but chose this one instead. I am so glad that I did. To start, the host was very welcoming. He made sure to lay out pointers on why we should done there. The service was great and fun. The food came out and was superb and hey helpings. Our drinks were great as well. I look forward to returning and trying additional menu items.

Visited mid-day around 3pm on a Thursday and had a wonderful experience. I could imagine this little restaurant being the perfect spot for a date night because the ambiance was on point, the server was pleasant, the bar looked well put together and inviting, and it just gave a feeling of intimacy and comfort. The food is amazing. The cocktail I had was unique, yet nostalgic and delicious. We had no room for dessert, but I promised myself that I will make another visit the next time I'm in Atlanta and will save room for a sweet treat at the end of an amazing meal.

Soooo you need reservations!!!! Make reservations. They also just received their first Michelin star I think last week! so when you walk inside it’s just chilling there on a table 😁 So again make your reservations. They are also changing up their menu after this weekend. The host was hilarious! Definitely liked him, our waitress was super awesome too, D or Dee?? Not sure of the spelling but loved her energy! I tried to get the correct spelling of her name from the recipe but I’m pretty sure they messed up her name on there too unless it got cut off. She knew her stuff! lol, very informative! Whatever she brought out was complementary from the chef, it started with the letter “p” no idea. I’m my head I keep repeating “Pom push” lol but that’s NOT IT! whatever it was called was super yummy! It was like a super upscale crab Rangoon (just to explain the flavor but it wasn’t that) The corn bread and biscuits were super tasty! I think they’d have gone amazing in chili or some bbq as well! The biscuits were more on the sweet end, like a cinnamon roll. The grilled beef satay was delicious!!!!! Juicy and full of flavor! The Mac n cheese was good, same goes for chicken. The collard greens are the only pass for us. We should have substituted that for anything else lol. The peach cobbler with ice cream was delicious! Especially the ice cream!!! Overall yes! Come here! Haha Parking is also in some weird garage around the restaurant.

Overall 4.5 stars. We dined for Sunday brunch and had a reservation. The restaurant was busy but welcoming. I would note that the ambiance was excellent for conversation. No loud DJ!!! My only complaint was our server was very slow. She was friendly but no too attentive. She seemed to be doing multiple tasks and lost track. (i.e. Drinks from bar were 20 minutes and other tables (sat at same time was 5 or less.) The drinks were good and presented nicely! We ordered crawfish deviled eggs which were ok. They are served cold and wasn't a "wow". The fried green tomatoes and salmon/crab croquettes were awesome! Highly recommend. Bread basket had both cornbread and biscuits served with honey. The NOLA seafood and grits were delicious. The oxtails were good, served with the bone and Asian style. We were offered the Peach Cobbler and it was a great finish. You will not be disappointed.

Food was incredible...small plates are not that small so be prepared for more food than you get at a tapas restaurant. We ordered the Southern Dips, the Beef Satay and the Wings. Such flavor! Melt in your mouth beef. Of course we didn't realize how much food was coming out when we ordered our sandwiches so then we had two gargantuan sandwiches (pulled pork-fabulous, blackened fish-delicious) and fried green tomatoes. (Good but a bit too thick so a bit too crunchy for us). And, since it's our birthday celebrations we ordered the peach cobbler and the bananas foster too...total gluttens..but lots of leftovers and deliciousness! Yay! Happy birthday to us!

Happy Friendsgiving!!!! Yes, it's that of year where friends get together and share and spread so much cheer. So the girls and I went to Twisted Soul Cookhouse. We were all late cuz traffic was ridiculous 🙄. Chris put this event together, so she already had our table looking festival with the holiday decor honey and the personalized gift which was so cute. An order of Fried Green Tomatoes and Tarragon Mostaza wings were on the table when I got there. Both were good I don't have pics because I was on the opposite side of the appetizers. Did I mention I was STARVING!! Lol I had been driving over an hour an a half to get here, so yea, I gobbled that up real quick. When it came to order our drinks I got the "pink" (that's not the full name of it) which has pomegranate in it, you know I love fruit so I had to get it. I then ordered the Hoisin Glazed Oxtails. Which comes with vegetable basmati fried rice, sautéed ginger garlic Bok Choy, and the Oxtails of course. Let me tell you it was sooooo good. The oxtails were nice and tender too.

Food was so delicious. We had the fried chicken dish, house bread, and peach cobbler. Everything was great, no complaints.

A fantastic kitchen and menu worthy of visiting Atlanta alone. Oxtail is the best I've ever had and the fried chicken is very very tender (not greasy or filling). But what makes the restaurant stand out are the combination of flavors and ingredients that Chef Robert Butts is choosing to use in his recipes. It's the small things that make restaurants go from good to excellent and Twisted Soul does it right. From the attentive and friendly service to the fresh flowers in mason jars at each table. A remarkable eating experience that cannot be missed if you are in Atlanta.
