This is an old school Mexican American restaurant. It hails from the days when every Mexican restaurant in Atlanta had the same menu and the number 11 was a burrito, taco, and an enchilada. Has that same menu.
It definitely is dated. However, the food is very reasonable priced for buckhead and is served hot. If you are expecting gourmet Mexican food then you are in the wrong place. This is definitely a go-to everyday kind of place.

This restaurant has been around for many years, and their food and service is excellent. I really enjoyed a meal there recently after having been away for many years. They really have top-notch service with a smile. I recommend.

Chips and salsa come standard. The look of the menu changes periodically, but the same people have been serving here for over a decade. This is one of my favorite spots for comfort food.

Family favorite for more than 25 years. Best soft tacos, chicken soup and taco salads! Always delish.

You can actually taste that their food is fresh! The complimentary nachos were also fresh and hot! Such lovely service. We were served by this person called Roman and he took care of us like we were his family.

Been going here for as long as I can remember. This is the ultimate comfort food spot in Atlanta -- so many millions of fond memories with friends and family over the years. 13 with pollo? Yes, please!! And a Dos Equis amber while you're at it!!

Fantastic, authentic Mexican food with quick service. Lunch specials are a great value and size for midday!

This place has excellent value for its tasty food.
It might get a little crowded late afternoon.
The quesadillas are good. It's a little sad they don't have delicious horchata.
Do not come here with big groups, the restaurant is not that large inside so you might have to wait extra to be seated.
Good for small groups

This is an ATL staple for so many reasons. It’s the best spot to grab a quick and easy dinner with fam or friends and then hit Baskin-Robbins right next door too.

Busy neighborhood favorite. Very popular with families and teens. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere, especially on the weekends. Food is consistent. Family run business.

Always worth the visit. If you’re reading this review because you’ve never been there and you want to know about it, here are the important things: The house salsa is very good and hot (for most people I’d say). You can order the lunch specials at any time. They will just charge you more than what shows on the menu. For some reason the Coke is very good here. I’ve been going to Jalisco’s for ~25 years. Some of the same family members still work there. Service is always fast and good.

Felt like I was being gacked at because I'm white and I was in a Mexican restaurant. All in all food was great.
