Love Rosa's Pizza so much! I've now got my son hooked, too! Every time he comes to work with me downtown, his first request is Rosa's pizza for lunch. We like the two slice special and the awesome staff! So thankful to have found NY style pizza in ATL. Been visiting Rosa's for about 10 years!
Rosa's Pizza to me is the best New York style pizza in Atlanta. I have been to many New York style pizza places in Atlanta and none of them compares to the pizza that is served at Rosa's Pizza. I have been a customer of the pizza restaurant since 2010, I believe their prices are reasonable, they provide great customer service and their pizza is truly authentic New York style pizza.
I went into Rosa's pizza after being up all night starving. The staff greeted me warmly.even tho I walked in kind of demanding. When I calmed down and got my head together I was able to look at a menu of traditional Italian favorites. I ordered a slice and a calzone with a couple toppings. It was a very good slice and the calzone was packed with flavor. I couldn't even finish the calzone in one setting, as I chatted with a couple of the employees he told me they have been in business for 32 years. I can see why with great food like this.
You cannot go wrong with this NY flavor like pizza in the heart of downtown ATL. It had been 10 years since my last time going and it's still excellent! It has such an organic feel and the pizza is delicious. Prices are in line with inflation but not horrendous. Friendly staff. Just know what you want to order before you get to the front of the line. Will certainly go again.
Looking for NYC in the south? The pizza, the atmosphere, the New Yorker attitude and characters. Also the same cleaning standards of your average Big Apple establishment. It is all here. What’s not to love. Not to be missed if you are in the neighborhood.
This is def a hole in the wall kinda place, as we would say in NY!! The NY pizza vibe was definitely there. I had myself 2 slices a pepperoni and an extra cheese... they definitely did not disappoint. I went in a Friday at about 115pm... the line wasn't too long, I waited about 10 minutes. I enjoyed my pizza and will be back!!
This place is a traditional hole-in-the wall New York style pizza joint. It's cozy and tight like a shotgun shack and kinda grimy, but very popular as a cheap lunch spot. The pre-made slices are good though not particularly exciting, but Stromboli/sausage roll and calzones are amazing. Only a few seats are available in the shop but there are plenty more in the basement down the stairs in the back.
Ordered the 14" John's Heart Attack Special, and the small salad. Pizza had lots of toppings, flavorful, but just slightly greasy. We still enjoyed it, and would order again. Small salad can feed 3 people. It was really good, and comes with ranch and Italian dressings.
The veggie pizza was one of the best we’ve ever had! Delicious & a great price. The garden salad was excellent too. Friendly people and a very quick delivery.
If you want excellent pizza. This. Is. It.
Be ready with what you want in line. The length of the line might be intimidating, but don't worry, they'll take your order near the door and by the time you reach the front of the line your slices'll be ready.
I'm from Pennsylvania I've had great pizza a few time which has ruined pizza for me from a regular chain pizza places. I needed a few pies for kids at The Skills USA competition and I got the 2 slice deal for myself. This is hands down the best pizza I have ever eaten. Only downside is if your trying to drive back to where it is it is a little tight.
Happy I can be like Atlanta people enjoy the best pizza ever in town .
