Mccormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks

Been to this restaurant many times, always a great experience. Easily the best seafood experience in the area. The crabcakes are always good, and I tried their crab stuff salmon, which was fantastic. There is a slight possibility that I am biased, since my wife and I got married in this restaurant a little over two years ago.

We are from out of town and when we went to visit family, this was the place they suggested we go for the best steak around. M & S did not disappoint! The filet was flawless! It was perfect. Our son in law said it was the best he’s ever had. Beautiful restaurant and wonderful service, too. Someone in our party had a tree nut allergy and our server was very attentive and careful. We had a stellar experience. They also have a couple options for a more private dining experience. Definitely making it tradition to dine here every time we come to visit our family!

The Google directions were accurate and led us directly into the valet parking deck which was $30 but well worth it in my opinion. (Parking in that area can be pretty hectic.) We were about 15 minutes late for our reservation but were seated pretty promptly. The hostess who greeted us was ok but our waitress made up for it. I don’t remember her name but she was awesome. She explained the menu when we had questions and our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. We ha the margarita (7/10) and the MS Iced Tea (9/10) Lavender Haze (9/10) For the appetizer we had fried oysters (3/10)and the lump crab crake (8/10). The entrees we had were pretty good. The serving size was decent and everything had a good amount of flavor. The Chesapeak Shrimp (8.5/10). The Grilled Swordfish- the fish portion was small yet filling (9.5/10) The truffle mac & cheese -tasted better than it looked.(8/10) The lobster mashed potatoes- very flavorful (8/10). Overall, an positive experience and will definitely return.

My wife and I had dinner November 2 before the Eagles concert and in our hurry to get out to the concert failed to pay our bill. We realized it on our way home and called the next day to pay and Eddie was so great and understanding. We were so embarrassed and sorry and he was so kind and understanding. The food was wonderful and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself to their happy hour! An excellent deal with a lot of excellent options. The burger and mussels were perfect. Monte was attentive, kind, funny, and really so enjoyable to spend a few hours with. Oh and he makes one of the best dirty martinis ever! He and Sean both made it an exceptional experience and were really so wonderful. This type of service is becoming more rare and they are both absolute gems!
