Great hidden gem in grant park! Very warm atmosphere - loved all the candies making it very inviting
Service was great! They even worked to create a meal that accommodated my gluten and dairy free diet. I got the chicken pancetta - but grilled instead of fried chicken with a special creation sauce (olive oil, garlic, white wine) instead of the normal dairy lemon based sauce. My meal was very healthy and fresh tasting. Friends got the bow tie pasta and lasagna and liked it! Friend also tried the chocolate chip bread pudding and liked it.
Absolutely fantastic! We rented the place out for a work holiday party (approx. 65 people) and had an absolute blast. The catered food was awesome, the desserts were great (I wish there was some more variety but they could’ve been bec we didn’t buy more), the staff and bartenders were amazing and super patient! At some point someone busted out the Bistros karaoke machine and we all let it rip and it added something special for sure. 12/10 would absolutely recommend for big gatherings!!
It rained and that set the perfect mood. It’s a nice Euro style bistro setting. No rushing you from your table, ambient lighting and yes, the food and drinks and service were excellent. Order the Thai Chili Mussels. They come with baguette and fries. It’s almost like a meal for 2 and perfect size for 4. Drinks were on point as were the paella and Crab Cames Pattie’s with plenty of actual crab and not much filler.
Great spot downtown. The atmosphere super relaxing, the wait staff and management perfect. The food was hands down some of the best I've EVER had ITP. Don't skip this place definitely make a stop here. Wether your looking for lighter fair, or something more robust they have options for you. I wish I had taken pictures of the drinks and the food. But my memory will have to keep for now until our next visit!
There is only street parking so it may take you a second to find a spot but it's Absolutely worth hunting a spot down.
My friends were very excited to take me to the "Best Kept Secret in Grant Park" and this place is definitely a gem. The atmosphere is great and the food was even better. It is definitely unassuming from the outside, but it is very special inside.
We ate with two little kids and Ziba's had a small but ample kids menu. The food was really good for kids food (I stole some pasta and French fried).
For dinner, I got the Jambalaya with Shrimp, Chicken, and Andouille. It was very good and huge portion. It came with an awesome slice of spicy cornbread that was served warm. My friends got the Barbacoa and Avocado Salad which also looked amazing.
I'm knocking a star for price. The food was much more expensive than I would have guessed and they even charged for soda refills (which was not explained beforehand). The service was also lackluster but they seemed to be short staffed.
All in all, I would recommend it. Ziba's offers great atmosphere for a special occasion or a simple night out with date or family. Give them a try! (just don't tell anyone)
We were greeted at the door and sat with our reservation. It took about 10 minutes for someone to bring waters. We went and got menus ourselves. Then a different person greeted us (server) and the experience was great from there. Cheese curds were just right. 1/2 spinach and 1/2 avocado salad sizable for price. Entrees were chicken picatta (excellent) and mexican meatball which was super flavorful in a great broth and a huge portion (most came home with us bc we ordered too much). Server was really pleasant and attentive through the meal. Very ecelctic menu and lots of other things we wanted to try. Interior is dim and cozy - good date spot. Way bigger inside than it looks from the street. We lucked out with parking but can see how that could be problematic for any other day/time than a Monday at open (5pm).
Honestly one of my favorite spots in town this year. It’s not pretentious at all, and the folks who work here are the best. They have a tremendous bar tender, so I love sitting at the bar when I come alone. Cool folks and dank food. So much better than more highly rated spots in grant park.
Get the white mussels or the jambalaya. And don’t forget the dessert!
Ambiance great was romantic and dim. Wanted a charcuterie board and found ziba’s and I wasn’t disappointed. Walked in and I was warmly greeted by the hosted she was amazing and I thought I was going to have an amazing experience. I decided to sit at the bar and was served by Alberto he was a bit short i didn't think much of it. I ordered the sangria which was amazing and a cheese board he asked if I wanted to keep the menu after ordering I said yes when my cheese board came out I see why he asked the board was huge and I was alone; I feel like he should have mention it. Told me what was on the board and left. He was pretty short and very dismissive. I wanted to try a few other things on the menu but I decided to go at that point I was a entirely too uncomfortable. I will be back but probably won’t sit at the bar.
This place is the definition of hole in the wall. And with hole in the walls, you find the best stuff. No exception to this place. We were greeted warmly and found our seat. We got our drinks and saw the menu. Its limited but has a wide array of tastes. I ordered the jambalaya wondering how well it would be cooked. I was not disappointed. It was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of spices and plenty of shrimp and meat. I was pleasantly surprised. My son had the bacon burger (which by the way, kids eat free) and he finished the whole thing. We then ordered the strawberry shortcake. It came a little messy but was good nonetheless. You have to be on the lookout to find this place, but you will not be disappointed when you do. And I didn't even mention the beer and wine they have!
Food is always delicious here! Love the family feel & the staff remembers you. The brunch is amazing on the weekends along with the mimosas. Great coffee too!
2020 Updated review - still as good! The menu is updated, the drinks are even better and it's a neighborhood gem! And they have got a nice outdoor seating set up + take out for folks not comfortable with indoor dining (just yet!)
Ziba’s the bomb! It’s my favorite neighborhood spot. The food is uniformly homey, and delicious. The Sunday brunch is esp great. The staff is all around sweet and awesome! And the ambience is cozy and warm. Lovely spot!
A cozy, under the radar bistro/café in Grant Park with an impressive menu and a great staff. The Thai Chili mussels were fantastic. Food was great, accompanied by a smart and wallet-friendly wine collection.
So freaking good -- I didn't even mean to come here. My friends found this place and invited me over since I was in the area. First off, the waitress was fantastic, really great personality and fun. The location is great too, even though parking is tough (It's Grant Park on Saturday, to be expected). I got the Mussels with Chorizo Tomato sauce, and the taste was wonderful. Even came with a side of fries (not sure how it pairs but was still good). I definitely recommend.
(Note: they serve the Mussels with another plate on top to discard the shells)
Delish food, great cocktails and inviting atmosphere.
Literally my favorite restaurant of all time! I dine here at least once a week (sometimes more!) and always enjoy it. Cocktails, apps, entrees and desserts are consistently delicious❣️
The owner (Marcie) is extremely friendly and the staff are all very helpful. Highly recommended 😍
This is something of a hidden gem and is getting a somewhat rare 5-Stars across the board. This food is simply outstanding. Fresh, perfectly prepared and a diverse menu with something for everyone. The service is as warm as the building and the wine list is really unique, varied and diverse too. Definitely something here for everyone.
Amazing hidden gem in grant park. Incredibly calming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Food was homey and delicious. Definitely a new favorite spot in atlanta. Can’t believe it took us so long to come here.
