Panbury's Double Crust Pies

I absolutely love this place! The food is great, and it’s a perfect size. I pick up TooGoodToGo orders frequently here now. The guy at the register is always SO nice. He always offers me choices (which isn’t really ever the case with TGTG), but I always just say surprise me, since everything here is so good!

Panbury's is absolutely a hidden gem within the Municipal Market. A lot of the market is kind of rough around the edges, but this is one of the spots there that is absolutely worth the trip. The staff is incredibly friendly, the selection is great, and the various sweet and savory pies are delicious. Highly recommend the classic chicken potpie.

I ordered a dozen of these hand pies via Goldbelly and I am SO glad I gave them a try! These are without a doubt the most delicious, flakey, fresh tasting savory pies I've ever had in my life! The crust is perfect and the fillings are generous. My personal favorite flavor is the Beef and Brandy. I will definitely be ordering these again as soon as I've finished my first batch! Worth every penny, and I will add I was nervous about having these shipped to Louisiana in our 105 degree daily heat, but my pies were well packaged and still completely frozen by the time they arrived to my home. I had the opportunity to visit the pie shop and indulge in their apple pie and chicken and mushroom pie. I must say, both pies were absolutely delightful. The apple pie had a perfect balance of sweetness, and the chicken and mushroom pie was rich and savory. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the pie shop.

We ordered the custom assorted pack. They arrived today still frozen. Wow, we just had the Country Chicken Pie…packed with flavor and the crust is so flaky and good. I could even taste the herbs. My husband kept scraping the plate and saying “really good.” Panbury is definitely a keeper! Thank you for a quality savory and tasty product!!! Pictures from start to an empty plate😊

Ordered their 12 pack double-crusted pies (6 flavors) from Goldbelly and had it shipped to Florida. They came packed with dry ice and were frozen when I opened it. Really pleased with the quality of their pies and flavor!! They do not skimp and the ratio of filling to pie crust is on point. My favorites are the chicken-based ones and the spinach and feta. Sooo good!! Each pie is about 5" x 3" and about 1" thick. Perfect for an individual pie serving. It takes about 40 minutes to bake and works best with an eggwash, but really worth it! I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person. They know what they are doing and know how to ship out their specialty for all to consume!!

I just moved to Atlanta and have found my new favorite place already! Savory pies that are meant to be held when eaten? Yes please!!! I was at the Sweet Auburn Market looking for some Tea when I was walking past this place and was offered a sample of bacon chicken pie. Bacon? Chicken? Pie? In the same bite? Sold! The flaky crust, tender chicken and crispy bacon provided the most incredible flavors! Both people working were very passionate about the business (this is family owned after all) and took their time describing their food to me. Adam I would assume is the manager or owner and came close to selling me one of everything. However, I ended up getting the Country Chicken Pie which is and American style pot pie with Chicken, carrots & celery in a creamy white wine tarragon sauce. I ate it as soon as I got home even though I planned on having it for dinner haha! Oops! I also got a Chicken Sausage Roll which is local chicken sausage, onion, parmesan & fresh herbs wrapped in flaky puff-pastry. We'll see if I'm able to hold off until breakfast to get it. :) Do yourselves a favor and try this place out! It's unique, delicious, fast, well priced and a local business!
