Upscale without the pretentiousness. Jeffrey, the bartender, is as charming as he is skilled in crafting delicious cocktails. Highly recommend this sister spot to Bacchanalia.

Best roast chicken the the city and a wonderful spot for wine and dinner at the bar (in addition to being great for a more intentional dinner at a reserved table)!

We hosted a party of 25 people in the private dining room and were very pleased with everything. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was beautiful and the food was amazing. We'll be back soon.

Try the tagliatelle with Sapelo Island clams. (Or don't; then there'll be more for me.)

I loved the ambiance and vibes of this place — it was something out of a movie with a very quiet outside area, but as soon as you pass the 90s-esque grunge windows, you enter into a wonderfully large space. The seats were nice, and each area was divided into rooms, along with a small curtain separating your table from the main walkway. The initial bread was given, and the olive oil carried all the wonderful flavor, I wish the bread was warm, however, and that would’ve made it easier to chew. I did not like my drink very much (Dressed to Kill), so I would probably get something else, or nothing at all. I also thought it was creative to create celery bitters, but the drink (Body Double) was not my cup of tea either. The Brussel Sprouts were very tasty, although I wish there was some flaky sea salt sprinkled on top as garnish. The meals were quite nice! The Chicken Schnitzel was very flavorful and paired excellently with the apples and ricotta. The Braised Lamb Gnocchi was excellent! The gnocchi was so pillowy and fluffy and the sauce and lamb was absolutely to die for. After a while, I thought the dish became a little too salty for my liking, but I have been told I am sensitive to salt so that was probably it. All in all, I loved both dishes. The Gateau Victoire and Strawberry Hand Pie were excellent desserts. Would highly recommend whatever variation of hand pie being served because the flavors are there and it is uniquely in its crispy shell. I love a flourless chocolate cake and the Gateau Victoire was no exception. Loved the combination with the whipped cream. Yum! Now some cons: The cushioned seats were comfortable, yes, but provided no lumbar support and were at an almost 90° angle. Hard to find a comfortable resting incline. The servers were pretty nice, however the service was a little slow. I imagine it’s due to a shortage in servers (pay servers higher!!), but our server was extremely kind and thoughtful and we were celebrating so the Gateau Victoire was on the house! All in all, would eat here again! Also love that the menu seems to rotate!

Excellent experience from the moment we arrived for dinner. Had reservations and they seated us immediately. Very inviting atmosphere with pleasant lighting. The decor was tastefully put together with large tables and incredibly soft chairs. We ordered the old-fashioned made with smoked rosemary. Try this drink if you enjoy a complex and unique tasting old-fashioned. We ordered the Octopus and Okra small plates. The Octopus had excellent texture and charring and the okra was perfect. For the main course we ordered the Loup De Mer (just amazing and tasty) as well as the Bavette. The Bavette was excellent but a bit more rare than the medium-rare we ordered. Understandable for a thicker piece of meat. Recommend ordering medium if you shy away from rare. Dessert was the Gateu Victoire and Local Apple Oat crisps. Perfectly executed. Service was top-notch and price was appropriate. This establishment clearly takes pride in what they offer. Highly recommend, will be back soon!

I fell in love with this hidden gem!!!! This little gem is hidden in the back of a court yard down a side road. Definitely wasn't expecting a restaurant to be tucked away. Who would have known they have been here for 20 years!!! As my husband and I entered, we were both blown away at the beauty of the restaurant. Very simple decor but nice. Clean lines and neutral colors. The selection on the menu would please even the pickiest eater. There is definitely something for everyone. I ordered the wood smoked octopus with pole beans. My husband ordered the Wood Oven Roasted Loup De Mer (fish) dish and salad. The dishes weren't overly complicated but the taste was amazing. Absolutely delicious

Delicious farm-to-table food. Our meal was mouth-wateringly good. The drinks were superb and the service was on point. The pesto that covered my gnocchi was perhaps a bit salty, but the gnocchi itself was handmade and some of the best I've had. Our favorite dish though was the watermelon, peach, and heirloom tomato salad with feta and mint. We look forward to being able to come back another time.

Unique atmosphere that plays off the name, feels like you're on a boat almost. Food was delicious, albeit a bit pricey for the portions. Service was quick and polite.

Absolutely delicious whiskey sour! We ordered that along with January's seasonal appetizers: a beet salad with candied pistachios and grapefruit- and a blue crab fritter.

Couple small service hiccups when we first sat down but the rest of the night was smooth. The scuppernong sour cocktail is right up my alley and it was delicious. Good old fashioned too. Looked like a good wine list and though it's not a great place for beer, they had ok options in bottles/cans for a very reasonable price. The food was great. Bacon wrapped shrimp was maybe a little tough but tasted good and the sourdough was excellent. I got the chicken schnitzel and it was perfectly fried with some very tasty accoutrements. My wife got the mushroom gnocchi and that was also fantastic. The decor inside feels a bit like being in a hotel business center but I'd gladly enjoy that meal in a drafty shack.

Very good experience. The industrial setting and feel is tempered with soft airy colors and comfy decor that includes separate small quiet table areas with long billowy curtains and large windows overlooking a greening marshy forest. The staff is lean yet attentive, friendly and helpful. The two of us began at the bar with very nicely crafted cocktails and pleasant chatter. Then on to dinner where we both decided to share everything. We started with a delightful pate topped with pickled onions spread on crusty bread and a bountiful serving of sliced mushrooms in a light wine sauce. We also shared a small plate of octopus and fingerling potatoes with a finely chopped garnish also in a light sauce. And for the main dish we shared a deeply lush duck gnocchi topped with spinach in a rich satisfying sauce. This was accompanied with a bottle of Chardonnay for a lengthy delightful and comfortable meal. Perfect!

We didn't read the reviews before going and I'm glad we didn't. It would have dissuaded us from going and caused us to miss out on a wonderful and tasty meal. We had the octopus and both ordered the lamb. We had a wonderful evening. Our waiter was attentive and we never wanted for anything. We will be going again. The food was exquisite and perfectly done. And there was bread Service to whoever said there wasn't... although it needed butter and not olive oil. But that's just my preference. 11/10 would go again!
