Metro Cafe Diner

The staff is great and always smiling. The atmosphere is great. The food is not worth the price though which was disappointing because diner food is the simplest comfort food out there. Kids did love the pancakes. Family of 5 spent $60 (3 pancake meals and 2 biscuit gravy meals) at breakfast and over $100 for dinner (2 patty melt meals and 3 kids meals).

First time in Atlanta Georgia and I’m happy I came here for some late night eats. This place was ALIVE. First floor has a bar and a dance floor. People singing kareoke and dancing the night away. Upstairs are dining tables. Wow- food is fresh and great. Great people watching. Great service. Great food. Atlanta!

I recently had breakfast at this diner and had a decent experience. The food was good and the service was quick and friendly. However, I was bothered by the flashing LED lights from the party area below. My party ordered a variety of breakfast items, including eggs, hash browns, sausage, and French toast. The food was all well-prepared and flavorful. Our server was attentive and helpful, and our food came out quickly. My only complaint is that the flashing LED lights from the party area below were quite bothersome. The lights were bright and distracting, and they made it difficult to relax and enjoy our meal. Overall, I would recommend this diner for a quick and affordable breakfast.

Every year, during DragonCon, we go to Metro Diner sometime in the middle of the night (often multiple times over the week). Each time the food has been great and the atmosphere is loud and fun! We love the low lighting, the vibe, and the Karaoke! In the past, we have had quite the gamble when it came to the wait staff, however, this year, we hit the waiter jackpot! We had a very large, somewhat inebriated, costumed group. We were seated immediately and our waiter was not only very attentive but he got everything right! If I can remember his name I will certainly update this to include it! We had the opportunity to meet the owner and tell him how much we appreciated the attention we received (especially under the circumstances). The food was great, as always. If I had one small complaint, it would be that the nachos used to be covered better, with the toppings properly distributed and the cheese was a better flavored queso. The ones we had were still good but not as good. 😊

Came here on a week night to grab late night dinner while visiting family. The vibes are super cool and it seems like it would be a fun bar to go to in a weekend. The portions of the food were large for a decent price point and the service was awesome. We had the kindest waitress! I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area :) also loved that this place is NOT 21+ unlike many other cool restaurants in ATL. Could go with the whole fam
