Yes…they are open for lunch! We typically stop here every time in atlanta! We ordered the blood orange chicken. Salad first…dressing so good! The orange chicken with juices and two slices of potato wedges and big chunk of bread. Chicken so moist. The atmosphere is casual and easy. Warehouse style.

Super delicious. Lots of space everything is family style. The tomato pie was good but I liked the pizza next door a bit more. Will definitely be back for the lemon chicken. Great for groups and families.

We've been coming to Gio's since they opened. Our daughter calls it her "favorite pasta restaurant". If you are looking for a casual place with some of the best chicken and pasta dishes, this is the place. The menu here has been pretty consistent over the years and we've tried most of it and have never had a bad meal here. The things we keep ordering are the chicken scarpiello, lemon chicken, chicken Parm and chicken Milanese.
Orders are placed at the counter and you grab a table and your food is brought out to you. The dining area is far from fancy the casualness adds to the appeal of the place. BYOB is allowed here and that's a nice plus.

Great food with huge portions, tried one pasta dish and one chicken dish. Each came with a side salad, and all food was out almost immediately. 2 people could probably share 1 dish.

So delicious! Honestly the best Italian food I've ever had. All fresh ingredients and my Pollo Margherita came with a cute side salad (which was also the best salad I've ever had. Loved the vinaigrette). I left full and satisfied and the food was affordable too. They had you order and then sit and if you want a drink as well, I'd recommend asking when ordering. Honestly a steal! Will definitely be back :)

I got a tuna sandwich. But I forgot to ask for cheese and have it toasted. They were out of pickles. This could have been why I thought the sandwich was just ok.
The atmosphere can make or break a restaurant. The atmosphere was everything. The Halloween decorations were awesome and everywhere. Just to cute. I would love to go back there.

Sicilian style roasted chicken, pasta, and they now serve deep dish Sicilian pizza in the back. Never tried the pizza but the roasted chicken is the reason to come here. My favorite is the diavolo roasted chicken tossed in a pan sauce with lots of garlic and Calabrian chilis. We went on a Friday and it was quite busy and the girl up front was taking non stop walk in and phone orders but was still friendly, courteous, and prompt. The food comes out very fast and all the dishes are served with the best fresh baked bread and an amazing side salad.
Very limited parking up front and there is a lot to park in the back shared with antico but it’s almost always full there is also lots of free street parking a short walk from here.

Absolutely delicious! Some of the BEST pasta in Atlanta. The chicken parmigiana and chicken penne pasta were very rich in flavor. I would 10/10 recommend!

Such a nice spot to grab a bite to eat or get gelato right across the street! We got the pepperoni pizza, the crust is thick almost like a focaccia but it was still airy and light, it didn’t make us feel overly stuffed! There is plenty of seating inside and outside and free parking either in the front or back of the restaurant . Can’t wait to come back and try other foods on the menu!:)

Sorrento lemon chicken explodes with flavor. I don’t come here often enough!! My lunch partner ordered the pollo parmigiana lunch plate, also delicious! Big portions! Tender chicken!

Amazing chicken dishes! At this point I’ve tried them all. Gio’s has whatever flavor you’re in the mood for. Friendly staff and community atmosphere. Oh and be sure to BYOB. Nice touch.

Then lemon oregano chicken was cooked perfectly! Amazing flavor and every bite was moist. Atmosphere was superb! Nice little place to sit down, relax, and enjoy some food. Also, right across the street is some amazing gelato!

Went twice this week. The scarpiello is amazing as is the diavola if you like spice. If you like lemon (and a lot of it) - the sorrento lemon is good - but was a little too citrusy for me. BYOB is great and took a bottle of wine the second time we went. Will be back!

Lost our order. It was only two chicken dishes. Asked 4 times where it was and no one could find it. There are only 8 items on the menu. Any other restaurant would have gone back in the kitchen and asked them to make it. After 30 minutes of the entire staff being puzzled on what to do I went and got my money back. Left without having dinner. Drove from the north side of Atlanta as this place used to be great. The restaurant ownership has gotten complacent. They are still riding their popularity. This placed used to be packed on any day, and the parking lot was half empty. There is a restaurant recession coming and restaurants that operate like this will be weeded out.

Not a big fan of paying this kind of money to 1- order at a counter. You do not have a waitress at all. 2- it's 100+++ degrees in this place. 3- the food was not that great. You can't substitute anything. They rang up my order wrong but I didn't notice it until sitting down. It took me forever to get a refund.

I'm embarrassed to say that I've eaten here twice this week. The scarpiello is amazing with the salad. I just love the salad dressing. The single portion is really enough for two servings. I will definitely be back to try something else.
