What a gem of a place. Authentic southern food with a slight Caribbean flair. We were a group of 6 on a Friday night, but there was no wait for a table.
We got the wings as an app and good God were they amazing. I am fairly certain these are the best dry rub wings I've had in my life.
Followed it up with the jambalaya, which was extremely filling. Took about half of it to go because portion sizes were so generous. Cocktails were decent, I had the Mule.

I've been here before for brunch, but food time we went for dinner. They had a DJ there playing music that evening. The song selections were great. They ran a special on their specialty drinks. Buy 1 and get 2 clusters of crab legs for$10. This was a great deal to me. Their clusters were huge and very filling. The servers were nice, drinks were banging, food was good, music set the tone for the night clean restrooms... it was great. I will definitely be back. Had dinner here with family and friends. We had a designated area due to the amount of people. The waitress Shawn was excellent. Our food came nice and hot. Also it was live music which was a plus.

The food was soooooooo good. The drinks were strong and the service was spectacular. The crabcakes were just that Crab cakes, not a lot of fillers and they were seasoned well. The grits melted in my mouth and the pancakes were huge. I definitely recommend them for brunch.

Great service and food. My wife and I ordered the shrimp/chicken and waffles dish and the salmon hash with eggs. Quick service and hot food. I would definitely recommend you visit for brunch. We sat in the bar area and the bartender was so attentive and make a great Jameson and Ginger.

A group of 9 of us had lunch today. We were seated immediately. Nice ambiance on the inside but it is on Auburn Ave and there may be some characters outside. Our waiter Mark Pinto was excellent. This was the first visit for most of us and he patiently described the more popular dishes. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. The portion was generous. I had leftovers. Others in my group ordered the seafood burger and salmon burger. Everyone was please and we will be back to try other dishes. Try to get Pinto as your waiter, he will take good care of you.

Bbbbbbaaaaabbbbbbyyyyyyyy let me tell you something.......Sweet Auburn was phenomenal. Great service all around from the hostess to waiters/waitresses to the bus boys. Jasmine was an excellent server. She gave us opinions on entrees and she made some pretty great recommendations. I feel like me n my friends sampled a variety of food with us all ordering different plates n sides. I cannot wait to go back so I can try the shrimp burger n the shrimp n grits. They had music playing n the later a really nice live band I believe and the music was not loud and overbearing. Great for a date night or just a night out. I WILL BE RETURNING.......all I ask is that yall dont run out of the nana puddin

First time experience. I will definitely return and soon. From the time I arrived until our departure excellent service. The food was so delish, I can remember whether I snapped a pic, lol. I had the salmon, garlic spinach and roasted potatoes! Meet a close friend for dinner on Wednesday. Awesome experience coupled with a free dessert from the owner!?!

Service was fast and friendly. We arrived early for brunch and all ordered food we enjoyed. Mimosas were also tasty. The price for bottomless mimosas was also fair, though it costs extra for certain flavors. But the fact that they had so many flavors to begin with was awesome to me as I’m not the biggest fan of standard orange.

Friends and I wanted some seafood for dinner so she googled too seafood restaurants and this place popped up. We decided to give it a try because the menu looked interesting. It is recommended to get reservations but we just showed up. We had a wait but it wasn't too long considering the pop up. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about food. Service was kind of slow but it was a busy Saturday night. Food was great and the seafood nachos were the best I have ever eaten! Will definitely go back.

Delicious food and great service. This was our second time visiting and we definitely enjoyed the food. It's such a cute restaurant, would really recommend it as a date night restaurant. The gumbo was delicious and so was the seafood nachos. No complaints at all!

Stopped in for brunch on my birthday. We were under the impression there would be live music but there wasn't. Our food didn't take too long to come out and our waitress was nice.

My daughter had chicken and waffles. Drink of choice Strawbwrry Hennessy Margarita.
My sissy boo the birthday woman had shrimp and grits w/sausage and eggs. Drink of choice Ciroq w/pinapple juice.

Very elegant and upscale. Now the price might jump at you, but the level of service makes up for it. And the food is quite good. If you're really hungry and your paper is long then by all means. But if it's date night or after work gatherings and you want service, taste and elegance. Give this a try.

Our server, Deonte, was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. A couple of items had to be sent back because of being cold or not being well prepared. A gentleman came to the table said he was a partner at the restaurant and he wanted to know about our experience. When feedback was shared on our experience, he said that all kind of people and celebrities from California and New York eat at their restaurant and they have never had any complaints about their food. We were pretty much offended at that point, as if our money doesn't matter since we're not celebrities. Quite disappointed from that point forward.

A really great atmosphere and live band. For the food let's start with the bad. The mac n cheese was not good. Thrown together. Rice and bean was good but needed little more flavor. The gumbo was spicy awesomeness. The stuff flounder was very good. Although expensive for my taste its definitely a place worth trying.

Our server “REGGIE” was AMAZING! The food was decent bu not worth what we paid. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for dinner, I would recommend it to have drinks, because the ambience and atmosphere was nice, but when we left, we were wishing that we made the decision to go to Oceanair just a few blocks down the road where the prices matches the quality of food. i Do not min spending money, if the quality and quantity matches the price. This restaurant does has potential.

Really was not impressed. My daughter and I was there on Saturday prior to the Jay Z and Beyoncé concert. We went in not realizing they were serving brunch vs the dinner menu. That was fine but here are the problems. They had a live dj.. could not hear yourself talk. It was way to loud. I ordered the phillycheese and shrimp hoagie(not sure of the exact name) It came dry with no sauce and it was just OK. It was recommended by server. I ordered a waffle to see what it would taste like I received it with one little dab of butter and syrup and it had entirely to much cinnamon. My daughter ordered a burger and could not exchange the fries for a salad. She said it was dry with no type of sauce on it. We were seated in the back and I literally faced. Wall. Really? I would say try it and see what you think. I won’t return there . We ordered water and our lunch bill was 42 and change Tip was 10. Not worth it. My daughter had a headache when we left.

First & Last time;. Food was good, but I’ll never return. Had a 30 min wait according to the 2 young ladies, then another 10 mins, only to wait bout 20 mins,...no problem but then we get seated, 15 mins, maybe longer goes by and no one even comes to take our order;. I had to flag someone down to let someone know that i had been there a longgg time with no service. Finally got my waiter, who apologized & informed me that he wasn’t even told about us, meaning the ladies failed to do their job;. Brandon was an excellent waiter. But the experience was too much for me;.

The restaurant was just OK. I wasn't impressed. It was overcrowded and when my food FINALLY arrived it was lukewarm. I didn't bother to complain because I won't be returning. The staff was nice, but my waitress seemed to disappear repeatedly. Overall, we spent entirely too much money for the service received.

We had our Family Reunion in Atlanta Memorial Weekend and the staff at Sweet Auburn treated us to an amazing brunch! Evening hours were even better with great music and adult fellowship! Strongly recommended if ever in the area!

The food was great, however the customer service was horrible and I did complain to the Manager. I won’t return at all because I felt like she had a bad attitude, she was acting as if she was a new employee with no training and she didn’t deserve her tip that was already add to bill because we had a table of 12.

It took a long time to get my food and it wasn’t even crowded. I ordered the lamb chops and my food was brought out with only 3, I was told there was a mistake made and the additional lamb chop was coming out shortly but it never did. My food wasn’t even really hot.
