Love this place. Arrived early and the staff was extremely friendly. Had the house made burrata & cherry tomato salad and it was wonderful. Perfect sized portion and some of the best burrata I’ve ever had. Then the Amalfi special pizza and it was the best I’ve ever had this side of Napoli, maybe ever... Service was great and I liked the fact the chief who prepared my pizza delivered it the table and even came back to check about it. Nice touch and great ambiance. This place certainly deserves 5 stars. Good job..!!
Best Pizza we eaten in a long time, everything is from Italy, n the crust ~ fire wood oven ~ I ate it all. The staff is friendly, the building from the early 1900's, Atlanta's got something great
So walking in, I didn’t know what to expect, because you don’t immediately walk into the restaurant. You walk through a quick atrium type area and walk up some stairs and the restaurant presented on your left.
This was by far the best pizza I’ve had! Fresh brick oven pizza, I had the Spicy Sicilian this joint was amazing, packed with flavor. I met a client here for lunch and I’ll definitely be returning.
The hostess was very friendly and our server Reese* was great as well.
We really enjoy this restaurant even though we weren’t planning to go there. All of the other nearby restaurants had over an hour waitlist and this one was only like 20-30 mins so we decided to dine here. I love the Italian atmosphere when we got there except the elevator that we had to take through the back that was kind of scary. But once we got upstairs, everything was so nice and the food was great and reasonably price.
I recently had dinner at this restaurant and really enjoyed the experience. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. We had several appetizers and main courses, and everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The only disappointment was the tiramisu, which seemed to have been frozen and thawed.
Later in the evening, we noticed a smoky smell in the restaurant. We learned that there is a cigar bar below the restaurant, and the smoke and smell were coming up from below. This was a bit of a nuisance, and I wish that the restaurant had done more to prevent the smoke from coming up into the dining area.
Despite this minor issue, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would also recommend making reservations in advance, as the restaurant does fill up quickly.
Our experience started off a little rocky. I'd like to think that there was a miscommunication between the host and the servers. We sat for nearly 20 minutes without being greeted. After I got up and started taking photos we were greeted by our server with an apology. This was back in May...I dont recall his name. He was kind, funny, and provided great, fast service. We had a great experience after the hiccup and the food was great. I highly recommend this location!
We come to Atlanta a lot for concerts and dining options downtown are limited to a bunch of overpriced chains, finding out about this kind of hidden Italian restaurant was fantastic and we will be definitely back. The place is located across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe and you have to walk through and enclosed hallway to get upstairs to the restaurant (there is a speakeasy downstairs). The hostess was super friendly and sat us at a great table. We had Aperol Spritz and the antipasto salad, which was extremely flavorful. We then shared their margarita pizza and added pepperoni. Their specialty is the cheese crush pizza, you can get any pizza with the cheese crust, just ask for it.
Loved the mushroom pizza! It was just the right size for one person. The tiramisu was divine. I felt everything was authentic Italian. I sat at the bar and Ricky helped me. He was personable and attentive. The old fashioned was so tasty. This is a moderately priced meal worth every penny.
Love this restaurant! I was in town for a business conference and discovered it accidentally and of 3 days spent in Atlanta, I had dinner at this place twice, this is how much I love it and the food! Their Amalfi frose is to die for! Try it out!
I ordered a side Insalata Della Casa and the Spicy Sicilian. The caramelized walnuts added a bit of sweetness to the salad. The flavors of the pizza were great, I loved the sauce and the chilis.
**Update because on my first visit they were out of what I wanted. On my second trip I got the saute di cozze, so amazing. The mussels were cooked to perfection, not chewy at all. The sauce was garlicy and had a great balance with the balsamic. I also got the pizza amalfi carnavale style (ricotta stuffed crust). I only ate one piece and boxed the rest up, but it was amazing. Spicy, creamy, sweet. I liked it better than the spicy Sicilian.
I also had the signature frose, it was good. But my amazing server recommended the hibiscus flore and it was stunning. It is in my top 5 cocktails.

Amalfi never disappoints!
Richard was a fantastic server. Their internet was out tonight but they were very flexible and accommodating to properly take cc payment.
Their Neapolitan pizza is my favorite in the city (not pictured because I got distracted). My favorites are always the calamari, bruschetta, pizza, and espresso martini (most are pictured).
The ambience is one of the main reasons I love this location specifically. We frequent this location most for date nights, special occasions, and when we’re in the area.
I suggest making a reservation whenever possible, especially on the weekends as some days they turn people away if they didn’t reserve a table.
I learned today that the menu here is slightly different than their Buckhead location. The Buckhead location has an amazing salmon dish that this one doesn’t…. So check both locations out!
Really good pizza. We didn't think they were as upscale as they were from the outside. Definitely worth the price for the food and location.
