I have never had better food in my life! If you don't like pork or pulled meats, then try the chicken tenders!! They are to die for! Homemade and freshly cooked!! And the homemade potato chips are awesome too! I ordered a side salad as well and it was like a mini southwest salad without meat!! The BBQ sauce on the table is the best I've ever had and I am kind of a sauce connoisseur!! We just happened to stop in to Lovies, because we were in the area! But, we would drive the hour drive back just to eat at Lovies!! #lovemesomelovies
Just had the best #Brisket that I have ever had anywhere at LoviesBBQ in Buckhead, Atlanta GA. Hands down, with a doubt, the very best. #EaterAtlanta #BBQ
I am one to love bbq and I must say this place was okay. I’ll be back, but I will be bringing my own sauce. The chicken and brisket were a little dry, but I think I’ll give it one more try! The sweet tea was delicious as well as the peach cobbler. Sweet baby Jesus that peach cobbler was a gift from God. 🙌🏾The banana pudding ( my dessert in the world) was a miss. 😕
The food was ok, but the customer service was just amazing! Such a welcoming environment from the cooks to the cashiers I felt like I was enjoying lunch at a friends place. 🥰Overall this was a good visit and I can’t wait to give this place another shot.
Fast, friendly service, and clear use of fresh ingredients. The sweet potato waffle fries are to die for, they use a unique spice blend with a hint of heat to contrast the sweetness. I had the pulled pork plate and it was moist and paired nicely with their vinegar barbecue sauce. Potato salad was nice and light and even the pickle had a twist, possibly due to their house hot pepper vinegar, which is available on every table. Clean, tasteful sports memorabilia for decoration, I would definitely come back with friends or to watch the game on one of their 3 tv's and the projector screen they roll down for special events.
While Buckhead is certainly not known for its barbecue, this place is certainly replenished the soul. I’ve had the brisket and pulled pork plate multiple times here and the vinegar barbecue sauce is tasty and not sweet. The fried brussel sprouts are a fantastic complement to the meat and I always leave feeling satisfied. Great spot for a quick lunch or dinner break at an affordable price.
We were so impressed by the quality of the food here and the friendly fast service. Will definitely be back for dinner, but would highly recommend without reservation to anyone. Glad we kept driving around to the back.
Great hidden BBQ spot! Huge parking lot which is unheard of in Buckhead. Lovely patio and great interior. Bright inside with fun memorabilia on the walls. Great sauces.
I tried the wings to start. We had hot flavor. They were really tasty! For sides I tried the brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. Both were really good. I had the pulled chicken salad and it was huge and delicious!!
I just ate dinner here, and had a great experience. I got the brisket plate with potato salad and mac & cheese. It was delicious BBQ served quickly (I received my food within a minute of ordering). The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, too.
First time in and was really impressed. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Recommended the rib plate w/ Mac n cheese and fried Brussels which did not disappoint! Ribs were tender and smoky. Cornbread was well balanced and not overly sweet. Also loved that they had white sauce as a condiment which is always delicious. Will be back because their breakfast looks awesome.
Small active stop with great Bar-B-Que! Brisket was well cook and very flavorful and decent serving size. Mac n Cheese was home style and delicious. Final note- restrooms were clean.
Very good BBQ. I got the beef brisket. It was a touch dry but I also chose not to eat it with much sauce, which would probably add more moisture. The barbecue sauce is a tangy flavored sauce with just a hint of sweet.
The coleslaw is good and the side salad was a pretty decent portion although it cost an extra dollar. I will definitely eat here again.
Was in Atlanta for a meeting and I feel fortunate when I find good BBQ. I happened upon Lovies BBQ by mistake, but once i started eating, my mistake was rewarded. So here's the scoop. I had the brisket plate, with sweet potato fries and fried okra. All of which was good, the staff was courteous and friendly. I've just been spoiled by Austin TX brisket, and while this was good, it wasn't ATX good. I will come back again when I'm in town to try other items from the menu.
