Review Livingston Restaurant - Atlanta

We went before a show at The Fox. We didn't have a reservation, but was allowed to sit in the bar area. We had to order off of the bar menu, but the food was delicious and our server Ruthie was awesome. Would definitely make reservations so, we can experience the whole menu.

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant! Zeta was an amazing server and never let us run low on anything even with the floor fully packed! The food was delicious and I’ll definitely be eating here again

I was in town for The Wiz on broadway with family and we decided to go to The Livingston Restaurant and Bar for BRUNCH! During brunch time I received excellent service- the coffee tasted so good and Fresh. I had my kiddo to I bypass the mimosas- bummer but they looked refreshing! Family had Crabcake Benedict’s, my daughter had the French Toast which was SO GOOD ! All of it was good. The clean ambiance was very nice. I would definitely return on my next trip to Atlanta. Pear salad was better than the peach salad. Chicken and Braised short ribs was good. Cobbler wasn't amazing. Burnt top that would not crumble. Our server Sheba was really nice, welcoming and knowledgable. Pricey for the overal experience.

My wife and I have lived in midtown for approximately 3 years and we were walking on Peachtree and happened upon the Livingston Restaurant & Bar. We had not been there previously and frankly did not know it existed. Much to our pleasant surprise, the bar and restaurant are beautiful. The part that made our visit so outstanding was the way we were treated by Jah, an experienced bartender. We had a mimosa outside at their outdoor tables and Jah was a very attentive bartender with great social interaction. He explained the history of the historic Georgian Terrace Hotel. Jah is the type of individual/server that makes you want to go back time and time again, which we will. Thank you!

Zeta made our experience awesome. Pleasant and very professional service with a house full of theater goers. She not only was knowledgeable about the food choices but awesome personality. We will be back.

Drinks were fabulous- Jah took great care of us! Amazing margaritas, beautiful location and ambiance! Salads were GREAT. Service was wonderful.

Loved the low country boil! In a city with a lot of fried options, it was great to find something I could eat that worked with my diet. Delicious! Even better was when I was at the restaurant before they switched over from the theater dinner menu, the chef graciously agreed to make the low country boil for me. I thought for sure I was going to have to find somewhere else to eat that night. Everyone was so kind and the food was delicious!

I had an amazing experience at the Livingston. Ruthie, the bartender took good care of me and the other patrons. I think my fav is the calamari🤭

First time here, got some appetizers and drinks before going to a show at the Fox just right across the street. Sat at the bar, our bartender was friendly and the food & drinks were delicious!

We enjoyed diner and Zeta was our server. She was exceptional, very attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Overall experience was truly appreciated.

The hotel in which this restaurant hides is amazingly beautiful. The restaurant itself is as gorgeous. The food here is sooo good; however, pretty pricey for the dishes. The Salmon appetizer on the BBQ chips is really good, but too much mesquite powder. I felt like I was inhaling it with every bite. The cream cheese and capers was a nice touch on a flavorful blend. The creole scallop carbonara was sooo delicious and the grits twist was exceptional. A bit disappointing to only receive for scallops in the dish. The low country seafood boil was good as well.

We had a great experience at Edgar’s P & P below Livingston. Jerel, the manager, Ruth & the rest of the bar staff kept us well fed and watered for 3 evenings. But the star was Sequoia. She hustled through that room with a smile and a laugh while serving at least 10 tables. She even stayed late on Saturday to make sure our group was covered. Great!

Brodie and Jah were excellent bartenders and very welcoming. They have a great selection of bourbon and provide a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Great place for apps and cocktails! The bees knees, and the charcuterie board for the Win! Excellent service beautiful place highly recommend.

I have never been more compelled to write a negative restaurant review. I called a few weeks ago to make a reservation for 11 for my son's college graduation party. I had carefully checked out the lunch menu to make sure that he had some good options when ordering as he is a diabetic. I was specifically asked if I was interested in the buffet. I said no and got confirmation that we would be able to order from the menu. I confirmed my reservation on Thursday and again said that we were planning on ordering from the lunch menu. I assumed that it would be fine because there was no response. When we arrived, I was told the the Nutcracker Buffet was our only option. There were no children in our party, and we were not particularly interested in tater tots and chicken fingers. As for the rest of the menu, there was very little that my son and the other diabetic member of our party could eat. The reservation was at 1:00. Evidently the time to stop refreshing the buffet was well before that time. The food was lukewarm at best. The service areas had also not been kept tidy and restocked. There were no salad plates. There was so much congealed gravy on the serving spoon and spoon rest it was difficult to determine that it was actually a spoon. I could definitely add more to the problems with this buffet! On top of that, when we arrived, I let them know that someone in our party couldn't make it, so we only had 10 people. I didn't take care of the bill personally, and I realized on the way home that were charged for 11 meals. The ONLY reason that I'm giving this a one star is because I ordered a glass of wine to get through this dining fiasco. The wine was very good, and it was a gracious serving.

We went there for pre-show dinner at the Fox Theater. The menu was catered for those attending a performance. Service and food was excellent. We did not feel rushed, had an excellent meal with plenty of time left to casually stroll to the theater. The menu was simple, however; the food was quite good and the appropriate portion size. I would recommend this restaurant.

My step-daughter had a hair in her French toast. She showed the Sous Chef and he brushed it off like it was no big deal!!! He didn’t even say he was sorry, not one person...manager, server, chef, NO ONE came to the table to acknowledge our concern! It was awful! We will never go back!!!! 🤭😠

Positive- unfortunately the only thinf service was great. AC wasn’t working ; they had fans. It is not acceptable for such nice hotel on Saturday night Food: The appetizers was good. I had asked to make special drinks and they did made it but brought with rotten rosemary leaves. The food below average price (both for quality, taste, and presentation). I couldn’t believe how much the bill was for such quality of food . Absolutely will not recommend going there .
