Incredible meal and experience. My wife and I stopped in on a whim while searching restaurants and were very happy we did. We got different steaks and both were seasoned and cooked excellently on the wood fire grill. I had the broccoli and asparagus for sides which were also cooked and seasoned to perfection. Must recommend "The Texan" steak. Chloe was our bartender/server and was very helpful and had great recombinations.

Had a great meal here tonight. Every dish I tried was so flavorful and well thought out (flavors complimenting each other well). The pork chop was a great entree choice. They cook everything over an open flame, so it has that charred taste. & I absolutely loved the fried cheesecake. Would highly recommend!

The food here was so delicious! We ordered the cheese quesadillas and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collared greens. The service was great, our waitress was super nice.

I want to thank Max Lager's for a fantastic evening. Atlanta was a short trip and we chose Max Lager's for our dinner out. The service was fantastic, the food delicious and the whole staff friendly and attentive. Thank you for the addition to my Growler collection!

Very cute pub, excellent beer-tenders, very knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. Food is decent, they have a decent pizza oven, but they need to work on the crust, which is a bit over-risen and lacks crisp, but the toppings are decent quakity. Beers are decidedly malt forward for their respective styles (particularly the IPL), ESB is banana for days. Not great, but nothing awful. Bar is typical mid shelf corporate... But you're not here for hard liquor. Oldest brewpub in GA, and it's really cute, and fun to hang out at. Everything is fine, but it's more than the sum of its parts. Worth experiencing, and I'd definitely return if I'm back in Atlanta.

Max Lagers was incredible. We had a large party walk in and we were accommodated well and seated quickly. We had one server for a party of 18 and he did exceptionally well. The facility was nice and the food was amazing. I don't think anyone had a complaint about their order. Would definitely recommend. We had smoked wings, Mac and cheese, and a pizza. The only negative I would have to say is the tap list on the online menu was a big draw for me to choose this restaurant and it was not accurate, but what beer they did have was good.

Had a dinner on my own when I was in town for work. Came early in the evening (5pm ish) and the place was pretty empty but filled up as I stayed. Had a great server, food was cooked well, and fries were crunchy and seasoned well. I asked for the burger medium rare and the chef delivered, very happy with the flavor, good tasting beef. The Soul Fashioned bourbon drink was mostly bourbon, but I still drank it and enjoyed it.

Great service, the bartender was running the show. We were there between lunch and dinner rush so maybe some people were on break. The bartender was our waiter and seemed to be the only one working. We ordered the Rustica pizza, it is basically a meat lovers pizza. The two of us planned to split the Caesar salad and we told the waiter that, so he had the kitchen split it and made it easy on us brought in two bowls. The ambiance is fun brew style joint.

We were here with a very large group. Not only was the food spectacular, but the service was efficient and very well organized. I got the red velvet cake but also tried the fried cheesecake. 10/10 would recommend the fried cheesecake.
