I am from Charlotte and this is my first experience in Atlanta! I'm celebrating my 22nd birthday! I was recommended here from an employee at the Center for Puppetry Arts and I must say this is the absolute best mexican food I have had in my 22 years of life! As well our server Rachel is AMAZING. I have been a server for a few years and I have very high standards for food service and she was absolutely top notch! This place, the food, and our server deserve 6 stars!!!!
Today, I visited Bone Garden Cantina for the first time. I was amazed at all the vivid and beautiful artwork which added a flare of mystique to this gem. Rachel, our lovely waitress, was very polite, bubbly, and an absolute delight. Her superb professionalism made my experience at this restaurant a memorable one. The food is simply to die for. I thoroughly savored every bite. Due to Bone Garden Cantina's delicious food and Rachel's excellent hospitality, I will definitely be coming back and suggest this restaurant to everyone!
Bone Garden Cantina is a solid Mexican restaurant. The food is good, but the service and atmosphere are great.
I’m a purist when it comes to Mexican food, so I always start with a Rice, Bean & Cheese Burrito. If a restaurant does that well, along with good chips & salsa, I’ll come back to explore more of the menu. Even though Bone Garden doesn’t have a RBC on the menu, they attempted to make one for me. It was a solid try. The proportions were a bit off with it being mostly rice, but it was a good try. I also ordered The Tinga Taco and it was fantastic. If you make it between 3 and 6, the nachos are really good and a big portion for $10.
On both visits, the service was awesome. Special shout to to Aaron and Andrew!
With good food, a fun atmosphere and great service, Bone Garden Cantina will be on my shortlist of go-to spots in Atlanta - especially for Mexican food.
I took my partner here for his birthday since he loves Mexican. We had a great time. Food was delicious, service was nice, and it's fun atmosphere. We also got a free banana empanada (So yummy!).
We highly recommend this place. It's tucked away behind the complex, which was different but added some privacy and tranquility.
Talk about a phenomenal spot!!! This is my ultimate favorite go-to Mexican lunch spot. And when I say go-to, I mean I frequent here at least once every other week. From the daily specials, to the drink of the month, to their always super delicious queso and salsa, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Truly! And don't get me started on the famous tacos. Actually, START with the tacos! What I'm getting at is that you're going to enjoy anything that's on the menu here. And the menu isn't the only thing you'll enjoy - the bartenders, wait staff, and, especially, the managers are all so damn phenomenal and will make you feel extremely welcomed. Just to name a few of these wonderful people - Tony, Aaron, Tess, the amazing twins, the truly talented WOMEN chefs, and one of the newest, Andrew! Can't recommend this place enough! And feel free to say hi to me if you see me here 🙂
Very nice restaurant. The decor is very beautiful, and the food was so good! The service was very fast, and the waitress was very polite. I was told it was good, but it passed my expectations fully. Highly recommend as a casual meal with friends or family.
Took some time to take my order apparently due to staffing issues behind the scenes but ultimately it all worked out! My server Keandre was great. The food and my margaritas were good. I left happy and full.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes. He warned us about spice levels in each dish, which was very considerate of him, and we were able to handle it all. I also appreciate that they noted on the menu that the rice and beans were vegetarian friendly so I didn't have to ask. Everything tastes great.
Just staying overnight and reddit recommended this so we drove 30 mins out of our way; glad we did! Food was pretty dang good. Kids got quesadillas and rice and beans, which were better than the entree. Had a chicken burrito and a pork - both great. Steak tacos very tasty. Cool atmosphere.
We're here in ATL for a concert & found Bone Garden on google & thought wed try it out. Aaron was incredible! I have a lot of food allergies and he was so helpful helping me find things I could eat. He recommended the fried yuca & it really does have kind of a french fry texture thar is so good. We came for my husband's birthday & had the banana empanadas to celebrate. My husband got the chicken tinga tacos & he has been saying they're the best he's ever had. Usually you can get a good idea how a mexican restaurant will be from just the chips and salsa & even that was perfect!! It is honestly so cool and beautifully decorated - even down to the smallest details. The art is incredible & the restaurant is very unique. We will be back next time we're in town! 🖤🌮☠️👻🩻💐❤️
Spicy Mexican food, tasty. Service a little slow. Nice decorated place.
The place, the food, and the servers are all on point. Wonderful experience. In town and had to kill some time. Little loud. The drinks were delicious too!
