It's been many years since I've eaten here, but the food was as good as I remember. A large space with dining on one side and a sports bar atmosphere on the other - great place to catch a game. Weather permitting, they have a nice rooftop area, too. I enjoyed the Shrimp-n-Grits while others enjoyed a fried combo basket and fish dinners. We enjoyed it all. The only negative was that the cheesecake we ordered was still frozen.

Both of us had the combination baskets. I had fried shrimp with double cod fish. It was good. Neither of us liked the hush puppies. Hubby had blackened oysters, shrimp, and cod. Our first impression of the baskets was it wasn't enough food, but it ended up being filling. I guess we are a little greedyđWe also had a bowl of gumbo, which was good, a side of turnip greens that had a great flavor but were cooked vegan style and crunchy. If you are like me, you like your all of the nutrients cooked out of your vegetables and cooked with meatđ I like them soft, not crunchy. We also had a house salad with ranch dressing. It was good too! Overall, our food was good, but it was on the pricy side for it to be lunch and mid-size servings. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Six feet under right in the heart of Atlanta is a great afternoon, evening or night dining spot. Atmosphere is definitely a pub vibe under the sea experience. Everything I ordered was phenomenal. I ordered fried calamari, fried green tomatoes, cod fish basket, fish sandwich with zucchini fries, corn on the cob and a lobster roll. I will say the lobster roll were expected to be served hot but it was served cold. With so many options on the menu you have no choice but to come back and try something different. 10/10.

I had a great experience all around at Six Feet Under. The food was delicious. The service was great. And the restaurant was extremely clean. I had the baked white fish entree in the restaurant, and ordered the salmon BLT sliders to go. Both meals were outstanding!

Had a great lunch of snow crab and one of their mixed drinks. Iâm a big fan of repurposed buildings. Six feet under did a great job with the interior. Service was great. Food was a lot better than expected. Parking was a challenge. If youâre in the area I would definitely give six feet under a try.

Amazing burger đ rockstar beer selection, the very coolest place to have a drink if youâre in your 40s and remember coming to this place when it had the slanted windows. A true âcheersâ kinda spot. Feels like home.

I have been a few times and the Atmosphere and service is always great. This time I tried the catfish fingers appetizer which was paired with fried okra. It was superb. I also tried the shrimp and grits which was just okay in my opinion.

First time at this restaurant and I enjoyed every bit of it. Crab legs were delicious and we had wonderful service from the bartender. Canât wait for my next visit to Atlanta to come and try more dishes.

Six Feet Under, a local place to Atlanta. Lots of choices of sea food!
To start, we shared the calamari, two baskets of zucchini, and parmesan oysters. My friends and I ordered different things. I ordered the snow crab boil, my bf ordered the PEI mussels with Caesar salad, and my friend Jen ordered the shrimp tacos and side of onion rings. Thereâs a lot of different choices for drinks. I just ordered the unsweetened tea. They also have a lemonade and a lot of different fountain drinks as well.
Everyone really enjoyed their meal. Prices were very reasonable and staff was very friendly. Our meal came out on time even though it was quite packed and busy for Saturday. Parking is also very easy, lots of parking in the back lot and thereâs also parallel parking as well.

First time eating here. The food was great. We had the shrimp and grits, the sirloin steak, and the gumbo. And finished with the bread pudding and pecan pie. We will definitely be back to try other things. But Iâd like to mention Victor- our waiter. He was outstanding. Itâs been a long time since Iâve had a waiter be so welcoming, kind, and friendly from start to finish. Top notch.

The steak was the star, ordered as listed on the menu. Loads different than a place like Bazaar Meats in Vegas which was the most memorable worst experience. Crowder can't really be called that it's more a clam soup. Asparagus was hard at the base of the stock. The corn dish was good. I hope this wasn't a fluke but the steak was great from the first bite to the last, with a very good price for the quality.

We had a date day in Atlanta and we stopped here for lunch. AMAZING! We ordered the gator bites and I have to say, incredible! These beat anything Iâve had in Florida. Next we ordered The Steamer. Mussels, shrimp, oysters, sausage, corn on the cob, crab legs, potatoes, and hush puppies! Talk about out of this world! Courtney took great care of us and service was top notch!!!

Not my first time but I could not think of a better Restaurant to go to for lunch with my daughter on my Birthday thanSix Feet Under. The food is excellent along with the service you get. Our server was very attentive, kept table cleared of used glasses and dishes and showed you that she was glad to serve you. I will recommend this place anytime. A+

Cousin and I wanted shrimp and grits with fried green tomatoes. Tomatoes were excellent as always. The shrimp and grits, not so much this visit. The grits were a little soupy and the shrimp were hidden...?
Usually my go to spot for a quick bite and my favorite shrimp and grits entree but not this visit. We didnât complain because we were starving!
The banana bread pudding for dessert was tasty and I even got some to go.
Yeah, those grits though. Needed to be thicker.
Otherwise an okay visit.

I went on July 1st. for the first time. I was not impressed. I ordered the shrimp & Scallops Platter. The shrimp were small and the Scallops weren't the size for a dime. They squeezed so much lemon juice on that small portion. I couldn't tell you what it tasted like. I got full off the sweet tea.

Customer service was great but the food not so much. The fish didnât taste like catfish, the hush puppies had a floury consistency instead of meal. The calamari was excellent.

We LOVE Six Feet Under and have a great experience every time we go. This visit, in particular, is definitely worth this review. Our server, Andrew was AWESOME. We had a party of 10 and everyoneâs order came out correctly. His level of patience and diligence was impressive as we werenât his only table.
We made it a point to leave him a good tip and inform the manager, Brett of Andrewâs exemplar service. I wasnât as impressed with Brettâs reaction to this compliment. He seemed rather dismissive and almost, as if, we were interrupting him by asking him to come over to compliment Andrew. He never complimented Andrew or acknowledged his service nor did he thank us for giving the positive feedback for one of his employees. Either way, I hope Andrew is aware that we truly enjoyed our service, his patience and attention to the small things. The managerâs (Brett) reaction wonât stop us from going because of people like Andrew and Iâll just continue to leave positive feedback and these types of reviews every chance I get. Thanks again Andrew and keep up the good work!

I enjoyed the food and services. We ordered blackened fish collard greens, shrimp & oyster po-boy, fried okra in a Ice-tea. I enjoyed the environment family-orientated. Very pleasant I will be returning back very soon!!! Not too many restaurants remind me of our food from, New Orleans! But this one comes very close to it yummy ďż˝
