The Capital Grille

Wow! I visited the Capital Grille last week for a company holiday dinner and the level of service I received was impeccable. Shari, one of the managers at The Capital Grille Superseded expectations with our private dining experience in their Wine Room. Narrah, our server, was beyond pleasant and gave us the best dining experience. She was well versed on all menu options and was so hospitable to myself and our group. If you visit this Capital Grille location request her y’all ! Thank you to the Capital Grille for making our visit so memorable. Also, the lobster Mac & cheese & Truffle Fries were on point! I’m talking eyes rolling in the back of your head delightful. Lol.

This is my second time dining in and the service was phenomenal. Sam took great care of us from the moment we walked in until we left. He’s honestly the best waiter I’ve ever had! I don’t like mint, HOWEVER, the lamb chops with mint was DELICIOUS. Perfectly cooked. The lobster bisque, wow. The Mac and cheese and truffle fries were delicious. We really enjoyed my boyfriend’s birthday this evening and this experience was lovely and greatly appreciated.

We came to Atlanta to celebrate our 25th anniversary, having been married in Atlanta in 1998. We were looking for a nice, upscale place to eat a quiet dinner. We originally looked at a Brazilian steak house, but there were no reservations available for the time we wanted. I looked at other restaurants nearby and was very intrigued by the Capital Grille. I was happy to secure a reservation the same day I looked it up! We had a bit of trouble finding the place…we parked in the parking garage, but the exits to the main level/shops/restaurants weren’t well-marked, so we got a bit turned around, but managed to find our way to the restaurant. We took the elevator to the 8th floor, and were pleasantly surprised by the immediate ambiance of the place. We were greeted immediately. Our reservation checked, the hostess went to “ensure our table was prepared”. Within a few minutes (before the appointed reservation time), we were led to our seats. Imagine our surprise when the lovely table for 2 had a rose, confetti, and a card for us! Can I just say we had THE BEST EVER server. Jeff went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was entertaining, precise, and wonderfully theatrical in his service, and we loved every minute of it, which was well-reflected in his tip! Our cocktails were well-made and presented with great flourish. I ordered the tenderloin and lobster tails; my husband had the 10 ounce filet. We also ordered asparagus “for the table” which allowed us to share it. When our food came out, we were happy to see the steaks were cooked to perfection. My tenderloin practically melted in my mouth, and the lobster tails were sweet and tender. The asparagus was delicious as well. My husband was very pleased with his filet as well; it was prepared to his liking. Since it was our anniversary, we decided to order dessert; we chose the chocolate cake. It was truly more of a torte than a cake…rich, delicious, and served with fruit and whipped cream. Did I mention it was our anniversary??? Our dessert came out beautifully presented, wishing us a happy anniversary! And Jeff, the amazing server, brought two flutes of champagne to complete our celebration. It was one of the most wonderful experiences we have had…from start to finish! This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but definitely worth a special occasion or celebration.

Was surprised here for my birthday last month and it was gorgeous! They went all out with service, table was covered in confetti, had a birthday card, dessert came with complimentary champagne and was given some roses 🥰 Beautiful experience! And the food was delicious with generous portion! Got the steak oscar and a lobster bisque which had a full lobster tail in it! Definitely worth it ♥️

I had my mom’s 60th birthday here in the private room. It was such a beautiful event. Dione and Melissa was so helpful during this process. The serving staff took great care of us during the event, the food was excellent. I loved the filet, the food was hot and perfect. We turned this room out! We catered it to our party, we decorated, had a singer & a saxophonist come in and play for our event. They provided the two tv’s for us to play our slide show, we built a balloon arch, everything was just so amazing. This was the perfect place to have our party. I highly recommend booking the wine cellar room. We had 34 people comfortably with the table running straight down the middle of the room. The Buckhead room is photographed also, we had that room at first, but changed because it wouldn’t have been comfortable for our 30 original guest. This was an excellent turn out!

Kenneth provided us with some of the most exemplary service I've ever received at a restaurant. On top of that, when the manager checked on our table she actually asked detailed questions about our meal. This made us both feel like she genuinely cared about our experience. The atmosphere is truly stunning and the views from the dining area add a lot of value to the dinner. Drinks were well prepared and portioned, and the food is a show stopper. I have a few critiques here and there about the food, but that could be caulked up to personal preference. It's a great restaurant with a great staff and I look forward to trying it again soon.

We visited Capital Grille for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday. Everything was a 10/10!!! From the greeting at the door until the moment we left! Our service was top tier! Our waiter Tim was very knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service! It was our first visit we will definitely be returning.
