I took my girlfriend here on our second date. My second time in athens and this place delivered a incredible experience for us. We ordered dinner and our waiter was really nice. After our appetizer he walks out with a tiny pizza and says "we ran out of dough so I hope this is OK with y'all..." My jaw dropped. He then tells us that they got alittle behind and wanted to make it up to us and that our food would be out in a few more minutes. We laughed so hard about it and it just turned into a very memorable evening for us. Thank you Transmetropolitan. Excellent food and amazing wait staff. Always recommend to friends when looking for food in Athens!
I've been coming to Transmet with my son for at least 8 years. The food and service has always been good. We haven't been back for a while and we were both pleasantly surprised at the changes. First of all table service... finally! It was torture standing in that line only to have the person in front of you finally grab a menu and start looking. Second was the new menu. Even though I only ever order pizza, the other choices looked great. My white pizza was delicious! Our server was fantastic and friendly. Thanks!

Awesome place! We held an event here. The space and service were just perfect. The pizza was great too!!!! No wonder my little sister loved it.
The pizzas are really good. Eat outside in the spring/summer and watch the people in Athens walk by.
I'm not able to go here often, since I'm from out of town, but every time I go, the food is great and servers are awesome! Shout out to Nate and Sami!! They did a fantastic job yesterday keeping up with myself and 15 other friends for well over 8 hours watching football eating great food. Thanks again guys!

We absolutely love this restaurant & it’s team of people!! I booked a date & hosted a surprise 50th birthday party for my sweet husband... This owner & his staff were absolutely incredible!!!!! From the day I booked with Chad, two months before the date through the day of the party they were absolutely exceptional!!! I settled up ONE time for everything and it was SUPER easy for a party of 60 people. I had a local musician performing in the upstairs area & they setup a gourmet pizza, and salad buffet that was very good!!! I had a cake made & room decorated all to my personal preference & liking. This was an incredible experience! Location, building, service, and food was ALL 5 Star!!!!
Great pizza. I wish they had better service. It always takes longer than we expect. In our last visit. We saw our pizza sitting on the counter ready to come to our table, but it sat there for a while before our waitress brought it out. If you have got time and patience, and want good pizza by the slice - Transmet is a great option!
