I have been living in Athens for 44 years and today was my first day ever going to this restaurant. It did not disappoint! Fast service. Good customer service. Great presentation. And it tastes great. It isn't over-seasoned oh, it isn't salty oh, it's just right.

Food was absolutely amazing, my first time here, I got the 2 piece plate with broccoli casserole and Mac n cheese, my sister got the chicken finger plate with black eyed peas and squash casserole, chicken was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor and paired with hot sauce was like heaven in my mouth, my favorite side was definitely the squash casserole, I had to go back and get a plate to go for later it was that good. It’s a little small comfy building, the only thing is the construction happening around it which makes annoying to get here and park. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Always some good eating going on at weaver d's. Great folks serving great home cooking. The squash casserole is amazing by itself but must share the spotlight with crispy fried chicken and assorted sides. Great sweet tea.

Awesome southern food for a decent price. Either order chicken or porkchops because that's what they offer! Both options were delicious though. Staff is very friendly and food was ready quick.

Super yummy, generous plates of all my favorite things: greens, fish, cornbread, fried chicken, mac 'n cheese. Friendly and fast service. Glad we stopped here on our way through Georgia!

Ate at Weaver D's while in Athens recently. Not only is it a major historical must see for all REM fans, but the food is incredible. Try the fried chicken and collards. Will definitely be back every time I visit Athens. Picked up a Weaver D's tee shirt too. Awesome!!

I would give this place 15 stars if I could. The food... sooo good. If I'm ever in town this is the only place I will eat at. Good homestyle cooking. The ladies in the back really know what they are doing. Keep up the good work!!! Automatic ...all day!!

It's been over a week and I can't stop thinking about the pork chops, greens and sweet potatoes that I ordered.
I might have to make a special trip back to Athens r another plate. It's THAT good!
