We've avoided this place our last couple of trips because we thought is was just a beer supply store. I've never been so wrong. Eleven high quality taps!!! Loved every one of them. Michelle was FANTASTIC!!! Definitely stop here, definitely get the full beer flight, and definitely bring a growler cuz this is the micro-ist microbrewery ever. They don't bottle or can anything, and have no plans to. And that is fine by me. Can't recommend this place enough ��
What an experience! We showed up right at closing and Hondo was just locking up but let us in and we got to buy a beer and chat with him and "Dexter". Neat guy, cool place, and great beer. My mom is from Hondo, Texas and that's what made us stop. Thanks Mom!!
Was on a beer tour with a group. This pub was part of the tour. The beer is awesome, atmosphere is great. Even got to meet the brew master. Had some good history stories to tell about Astoria. Worth going to.
This is such a fun place with great beers named after the best dogs around. Thank you for welcoming Onward Adventures Pub Crawls. This place also has lots of parking and dog friendly!
I thought I knew what local was until I went to Hondo's. This is local. Hand crafter brews, hand picked beer and wine, home brew supplies, pub food, open mic night, dart board, board games, dogs welcome, patio, and more. A good place to chill.
Friendly, clean atmosphere. Newly remodeled Lots of VERY good craft beers & ciders not found anywhere else. Owner RJ is a fun guy. He has a record player there, & occasionally there's live music too! Good fun for locals & friendly tourists alike.

Amazing house-made beer selection (15+ taps), nice low- key vibe, friendly service and good food prices.. we’ll be back. Wouldn’t have minded a veg burger option tho. 😙
I will be honest that I judged this book by its cover and wanted just a quick in and out to get my stamp for the Craft Beer Trail. I was proven wrong over and over - great beer, great service, great games. I cannot wait to make this a stop on my next trip in.
