The whole experience here was awesome! Great food, lots of it, and affordable. The atmosphere and service was great. I would definitely eat here again!

Recently visited Astoria, OR and the surrounding area with my husband. We got into town a little late, but not obscenely late, but very few places were still open. After a brief overview of the menu, my husband and I landed on Hong Kong Chinese (we did take-out since it was close to closing time). The staff was friendly, service was quick, and best of all--the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We got a family meal as it was reasonably priced and had all the items we wanted in one convenient package. EVERYTHING was delicious and our food was packaged up with so much care. My husband and I's personal favorite was the fried shrimp, but literally the fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and egg flour soup was all soo tasty. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Chinese food.

I have been looking for an old school 1960 style Cantonese restaurant for years. Everybody switched over to Szechuan or Mandarin which I don't care for as much. This place serves all the items I liked and remember as a kid. They serve them the way I like. Exactly! Add to this fantastically fast service, I couldn't ask for more. Nothing on my plate was perfect and it probably would warrant four 4 star rating back in the day but, since it was such a long time finding it I gave it a five-star

We stopped at this restaurant on our way to California. Very nice restaurant. We ordered chicken lo mein and bbq pork. Both dishes tasted good. The service and atmosphere was also very good. The pricing was affordable and very reasonable. There was plenty of seating. The parking space was also plenty amidst the congestion in Astoria downtown. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We ate lunch here and I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork with Pork Fried Rice. Husband had the Szechuan Beef. Egg flower soup was really good. The whole meal was good and the only problem we had was with the coffee because it was REALLY bad. Bitter and burnt. Don't order the coffee if you go.

My family has came to this restaurant for many years. The quality is always very high. Flavor is scrumptious. The young man who works there is the best. I so highly recommend this establishment.

Thank you Hong Kong for the late night snack!! They were gracious enough to serve us when we arrived at 9:40p when they closed at 10p. Our food came hot and fresh and quickly.

The food was delicious!! Some of the best chinese food I've had since I was a kid. We got the egg foo yung and vegetable fried rice and it was amazing, large portion sizes, very affordable. The people were extremely nice and the atmosphere inside was well done and cozy. Definitely our new go to spot in Astoria!

Yummy, yummy, yummy 😋 😍 I've been going here for 16 years ever since my daughter was born. Great service 👏 👍. Good prices lunch specials menu from 11-3 under $10. They have large portions and hot tea that come with your meal. They could update their decor but it works because the food is good. My favorite meal is general sow with pork fried rice served with a spring roll, fried wontons, and soup.

Good value for money. HUGE portions. Batter on fried dishes was still crispy under the sauce. Very flavorful food. Staff was friendly and quick.

I live on the Coast, and trust me there are no decent Chinese restaurants from Tacoma to Portland. You have to go to Astoria. They have three of the best anywhere. Hong Kong is one of them

Food was delicious and the portions were huge. Ended up taking most of what I ordered back in boxes. Service was cordial and prompt. I never ran out of water. It was pretty quiet when I was there and the seats were very comfy. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for Chinese food in Astoria.
