Atmosphere is a little dated, and it's cold in this restaurant! But I love the food! The Garlic Chicken and Egg flower soup are the best I've ever had! The waiter on our last night out here was awesome and very polite! Definitely get tons of food for the money you pay as well! It's always enough to have a whole second meal because I can never finish it! Worth every penny!

Best Chinese restaurant in town.
Under new mgmt, and has taken some time to get in the groove of previous owners, but once again food is very good. (Don't offer crackers with soup, which is disappointing). But other than that perfect.
Wait staff was polite, but not very attentive, they were moderately busy, but, never got a soda refill and took a long time to get the check.

This restaurant is a bit hard to find if it weren't for Google Maps and Reviews. We would never have come here if it weren't for the reviews and pictures on Maps

Old school Chinese restaurant. We stopped in for lunch, they had a few tables filled. Server was friendly and a little nervous, she explained that she had just started this job. We both ordered combo plates and had a small order of fried shrimp to split. Pork fried rice was good, with enough pieces of bbq pork and not too much soy sauce, sweet and sour pork was a little over cooked. The sechwaun beef was god with just the right amount of heat, but maybe a little heavy on the cabbage? Fried shrimp was hot and crispy.
Overall good experience, we will return.

This place has excellent Cantonese food. The sweet and sour spare ribs were just as they should be. Crab puffs and the chicken sub gum chow mein excellent. Everything served fast and piping hot. Service was excellent and our server checked on us a few times which I appreciate. I highly recommend a stop here for great Chinese food.

Bartenders are great Shawna ( Bartender) always adds a flare of humor,great service , welcoming smile and personality that keeps you coming back.she also decorates for any occasion that gives her a chance too Each bartender adds there own flare as well. What more could you want

Hadn't been here in years. Last time was a disappointment. First time was the first date with my wife. Went there again on the 30th anniversary of our first date just for lunch and had some excellent food. I had the seafood and fresh vegetable stir fry that came with a side of steamed white rice, and it was beyond any expectation. Not overly flavored but just right. My wife had lo mein, and it was good too, but nothing to make it outstanding. This will be my go-to Chinese food restaurant in the Astoria area in the future. I will order other items and see if my current review is matched in quality.

I loved this place! A few years ago I stayed nearby, with my husband, and I wanted to eat here and he didn't. On this most recent visit, I'm now divorced, and so I ate here. It smelled so good every time I walked by! They've got a fabulous lounge and the food is solid. I called in an order and was told 20 min. I got there in 16 min. That gave me time to eyeball the lounge and scan the place. Again, the lounge looked so cool. The rest of the place looked clean and inviting. Got my din din, took it back to my hotel and it was hot. I hate when you order food and it's like half warm - everything was hot and delicious. And there was so much food. I think I could have split my #8 with someone and we'd both been full. I'll go here again on my next visit, it was lovely.

This is our favorite Chinese food restaurant in our town, we won't eat anywhere else. We can always depend on the food to be delicious and good quality. The service is always top notch. Carolyn, who is a server and bar tender in the lounge is very pleasant and we make it a point to find a table in her area so we have her as our server.
I highly recommend this restaurant not just for the people but for the food!
