Glad to find this gem. Great bar and dining area and outside tables. Would go back for the crab Deviled egg! Yum. Also pictured are the hush puppies and gnocchi. I would love to try everything on the menu. It was pretty quiet on a Tuesday night. Can't wait to come back again!

Servers got a little slammed in the middle of our meal and had to pull themselves out of the weeds but the food is very good and the drinks were very good too. They servers did get us everything we asked for but the wait took a little while.
Their bar program is quite strong but stick to the menu. Also, you won't be sad you did. All in all a very solid experience.

We got there late, thankfully they were still open! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. I love the decor-it’s hip, dark, spooky and everything I want in a night spot. My drink was alright, the cocktail list is very hipster and the food was tasty. I would go back next time I am in Astoria.

Loved the look and feel of the place. The 2 cocktails I had were good. I would have loved to try their tomato soup because that's one of my favorite should, but unfortunately my friends and I ate somewhere else before stumbling upon albatross & co.

This place is great. Such a true commitment to good, fresh, organic, sustainable food. One of the few places in the entire North Coast that does this. No Cisco food here my friends. Instead, just beautiful food made with love. Plus, the freshest oysters I've found within 100 miles too. Nothing but delicious, seasonal food, a great wine list, craft cocktails, charming service, and good vibes. The best dining spot in Astoria I think.

I've heard the stories about the owner. Apparently he is less than pleasant. But I've never talked to him outside of a "hello" as we enter. Albatross & Co. has some of the best food in the area, a really great beer list, and some great service too (again, only basing this on my own personal experience). Give it a shot. My only negative opinion is that it can be very dark in there at night. But that's all, and it isn't enough to keep me away.

My sister and I just ate there last week while visiting Astoria. Great quaint little pub just down the street from Norblad hotel. The bartender was very sweet and service oriented. She greeted us right away even though we didnt sit at the bar. We both ordered local Ginger ales, watermelon salad and I had their Chocolate pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious and overall very pleasant experience.

Best burger of my life! After 10 a limited late night menu is available which includes the burger. Can only imagine how good the regular menu must be! Dark and swanky atmosphere ❤

Always love visiting Astoria in part for all the great food available! Albatros & Co. Is definitely a new favorite, excellent food, great drinks and attentive staff! My only complaint is that it was rather on the dark side which made reading the menu a bit difficult. Otherwise, excellent food for what I thought was a rather good price!

Like everything else on the Oregon coast this place is unique and just a little off.
Half of their seating is in a drafty hallway where the front door is, they don't serve coffee, they don't have to go containers, they messed up our order and wouldn't take reservations.
The food was great but the overall experience was sort of a hassle.

Still reeling from our awesome accidental experience here! Had passed it by thinking it was a tattoo shop for about a year. This time we saw the sandwich board and menu posted and went inside. We might have not felt cool enough to eat but here but the staff, the space, even the music they had on were welcoming. Take a look at the seasonal menu and enjoy their cocktail, wine, beer and Cider offerings.
The only thing that might be a problem is that it's very dimly lit in the evenings, we used the candlelight and a cell phone to read the menu after sunset.

Our friend Autumn told us about this eatery. I wasn't aware of the existence of the Albatross.
We started with oysters and mussels smoked and raw. I had a half dozen raw. All were very tasty and firm. Two of the oysters had significant shell matter, but, I finished them anyway. We then had a poutine which was quite tasty. We also had a smoked sturgeon dish.. The poutine was worthy of a main course, but, the smoked sturgeon was not.
I give the restaurant 4 stars because the oysters despite the shell matter were very good. The poutine was new to me and very good.
I really wanted to try the braised rabbit, but, was too pricey. Rabbit is a fairly inexpensive meat to be a $27 dish. But, I'll probably try it another time.
Autumn made the evening as our server. We wish her well as she moves on to her next adventure.

My dog and I just visited this joint after being referred to it because the owner is an avid motorcyclist. I was turned right around and informed, by whom I assume is the owner, that they did not allow service dogs in the bar. I explained that I was there to talk bikes and drink, but his attitude was nonetheless disparaging. I probably won't press the matter, but he made a mistake. I'm currently carrying my thirst and $100 to the Astoria Coffeehouse. If he takes the time to rectify things I may consider offering his establishment patronage in the future.

Table was cramped and had a sharp nail sticking through under the table which caught on my pants and scratched me good. The room was really dark and i couldn’t see the food. I had half a doz oysters on the half shell, which were tiny but really good. Becky’s lingcod was half raw and bony. The server was really good given tonight was her first night.

Not much to get super excited about, definitely a arrogance about the place. Our waitress was asking us if we wanted desert two bites into our dinner then left our check and vanished to a booth to hang with her friends.

Atmosphere & location can't be beat - one of my favorite places in town to sit and have a drink. But, even better, happy hour burger. Don't question me, just go get it, with a couple of sides and something from the bar. If you like oysters, also, oysters they've got - I want to learn how to like them just so I can enjoy them here. If you visit Astoria, don't miss this place!

I've dined in Pacific coast restaurants from Dutch Harbor, Alaska to Puerto Williams, Chile. This is simply THE BEST in its class. Really. Not inexpensive...too dark...a non-chalant owner...un-pc customer service. But still the best. The owner and chef has the touch. Think I've been about 5 times.

Guy who said he was an owner was rude from moment we sat down. Even accused my husband of having a chip on his shoulder from moment we walked in. Tried to ingratiate ourselves by asking friendly questions, but were rudely shutdown. When asked why the hostility the so called owner threatened violence and then threatened to call the cops. Food was good cooks were super nice and accommodating. Owner needs some manners and people skills.
