El Tapatio - Astoria - Photo album

Only good things to say about my first time here! The food was delicious and we’ve wanted to go back every since. Ordered carne asada, chicken chimichanga, and enchiladas. Carne asada was cooked perfectly! Salsa was delicious, we ate them chips and salsa on the table so quickly. One of the best part
In 42 years this is the best Mexican food restaurant I've ever gone to it was recommended to me my girl here in town she said it was her favorite restaurant we went and checked it out and I can see why it was her favorite restaurant. The cut of carne asada is very high-end cut absolutely delicious..
Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our orders. There were a lot of regular customers that had came in while we were eating and they called the customers by name. When i see things like this i know that there is something good going on. If i don't get quality food and service i want ever
This was quite a treat coming here. I got to meet my dad for the first official time in 20 years here and it was such a pleasant visit. The food was great, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was out of this world. I'd definitely come back for a second visit when I come back down to Astoria
I've visited all but 2 countries in South America. This is the most legit place I've been to North of Mexico.
Wow, the servers are extremely friendly and quick. I really appreciated the bright hospitality. The decor is perfect- from the tiled table to the bathroom door that’s painted like a loteria card. Only suggestion is to clean up the menu, theres so many words and options that make it overwhelming.
Really nice place to eat.. friendly service and great view. The food was simply delicious. Simple and tasty Mexican food. Will go back next time we visit Astoria.
Stopped here with my family during a day trip Astoria. Great food, beautiful art, friendly staff, and great service. Cool location under the Astoria–Megler Bridge. Will definitely stop here again on future trips through the area.
First time. Absolutely wonderful. Food was great. Even the Dr. Pepper was brilliant tasting.
The Carne asada is hard to beat. Flavorful and grilled to perfection. I love it. And the best chili relleno I've ever had. The batter is truly delicious and flavorful. Not too eggy. The service is always great. The chips and salsa are also great, I just wish they gave us more salsa to go with the ch
Good food and nice restaurant. Very friendly and helpful personnel. The Pina Colada was very good but is a meal all by itself! Very dense and lots of calories. Do not take this if you have insulin sensitivity problems! The Pina Colada filled us up completely, not leaving space for dinner :( Bad d
I guess I forgot to write the review previously in June or July. I have visited twice and the service was friendly and food was piping hot both times. The first time the soup was absolutely to die for delicious, the second time I returned specifically for the soup, I was very disappointed. The broth
Staff was friendly and prompt. Seated right away and given chips and salsa. I had the #4 Combo plate which had a taco, tostada and enchilada with rice and beans. You could pick your meat that you wanted. My husband had the Chili Verde dinner. Both of our meals were plentiful and good. The restaurant
First time here Friday 4/22/22 and what a cute spot! My friends and I pit stopped here before we headed to the astoria crab and wine festival and only had drinks. They offer margarita sample flights!!! And boy were they good! I had their blackberry Margarita the rocks and it was beautifully presente
I absolutely love this place. When I travel for work in Astoria I must come here. Amazingly friendly staff that feel like family and phenomenal food!
WE have had a lot of food from Midwest to southern United States from Chicago to Seattle Many Many Many Hispanic restaurants... The point isTapitios is, by far , the best Mexican food I've 😋 ever had..... Astoria is such an amazing, peaceful town.... highly recommend in our book.... trust me we know
The food was good and had a great view on the Astoria bridge. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and the plate was full! The Mojito was the only disappointment. Mainly ice cubes and water with a slice of lemon... For almost $10 I was expecting something better.
