Columbian Cafe - Astoria - Photo album

A new favorite breakfast spot on planet earth. Homemade spicy jellies, toast, and coffee served immediately to offset any hunger and wake up the palate. Highly recommended to do the Chef's Mercy, in which you leave it up to the chef to make whatever his instincts speak to him, depending on your pr
Always Delicious! Service is always good. It’s not a “hip” atmosphere it’s no one is rude as some others have stated. It’s a place that is at its own pace, don’t be rude and don’t be loud. Stay off your phones and enjoy the food. Y’all are the best, the one star reviews can kick rocks!
Pretty much everything is fresh and made to order. The service is good and the food is phenomenal. There are even vegan options. So, I was more than pleased. I will definitely go again when I'm in the area. Its cash only and plates average around $12.00.
If you're an adventurous eater like I am get the chef's double mercy. You tell them any allergies or aversions and the level of spicy you want and the chef will make you whatever he feels like. Words cannot properly express how delicious this was and how excitedly I devoured it. Highly recommend.
Solid delicious food, small menu which is great. Super cute little quirky place.

Love this hole in the wall restaurant! Loads of tasty vegetarian options plus seafood. Hope to be back soon...
Outstanding mercy! I loved it all. Thank you! Great food, great passion, great drinks, and great climate!
I like their power of tower. Their beans need flavor in that dish but it's a fantastic price for the amount of protein you get which keeps me coming back. Also the atmosphere and staff is incredibly friendly and at home, it's a Portland vibe and it feels very chill.
So here’s the thing- if you are in a hurry to get on with your day this might not be the best choice: it’s a small place there is often a wait for a table. Add the fact that there is only one cook putting together the plates on a TINY flattop and you’re waiting for a while, bub. That said- all three
