Review Street 14 Cafe - Astoria

Lovely atmosphere with a great remodel. Drinks are excellent and service friendly. Food was not bad, but not something people would rave about. Used areas were clean, but other areas could use a cleaning. I doubt the lights were dusted in the last year.

Lovely cafe with a great menu for breakfast/brunch. Creative drinks and kind staff. Music was playing a little too loudly to accommodate studying or working remotely. Their genre choice reminds me of an early 2000s high school flick introducing all the groups as the main character walks horrified through a crowded hallway. Plan to stop by for breakfast soon!

Went here to pick up breakfast the other day and was impressed by both the friendly service and the quality of the food and drinks. I got the veggie quiche, which was excellent- flaky crust, with zucchini and poblano peppers inside. My husband got the breakfast burrito and said it was almost as good as those we used to get in So Cal- high praise coming from him. We will definitely make a point of coming back next time we are in town.

Very nice looking cafe. I love places like this. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Italian deli sandwich, and a hazelnut latte. The hazelnut latte was really incredible and that says a lot coming from someone who never drinks coffee/doesn’t enjoy coffee usually. I decided to go for it today and I was pleasantly surprised! Maybe I’ll order more coffee like this in the future :) The breakfast sandwich hit the spot. The Italian deli sandwich wasn’t all that great both taste wise - didn’t want to finish it because I didn’t like the taste of it - and also in terms of size I was expecting the sandwich to be a bit larger for the price. The sandwich was a bit expensive for what you get but that’s just me

One of the best coffee shops in Astoria. The food is incredible the coffee was perfect and the people were even better! Definitely a place that I will come back to and tell everyone about.

Street 14 is what most coffee connoisseurs look for in a coffee shop. High quality, great tasting coffee in a comfortable appealing environment. They do have some flavor options for breves etc.

Very cool atmosphere. The breakfast burrito was fantastic. The tortilla was authentic.

Clean modern coffee shop. Coffee was good and the food was fresh but could have used a touch of seasoning.

This is a great meet up place, or to sit and study in the morning. Their seasonal cardamom maple latte is excellent, and even though the food is a couple dollars more than other establishments, they use local ingredients and it is consistently delicious. My favorites are any of the quiches, delicious and presentation is excellent as well. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, even when I am a hot mess in the morning. Thank you Street 14 Cafe for being both delicious and awesome!

Love this place! Quaint little corner coffee shop with vegetarian/vegan options..on the coast, no less! Reasonable prices, warm atmosphere, and friendly service made this a beautiful & stomach filling stop! I highly recommend Street 14 Cafe!

This place has a cool up town feel & friendly staff. Off the beaten path. A nice spot to get out of the rain. Chai & vanilla latte is less sweet than others, that is my preference anyway. They serve Stumptown coffee. This is good local coffee.

Really loved this place. Came in right at 8am, and got veggie hash. They were kind, and helpful. Great atmosphere, and the hash was amazing

Amazing food & atmosphere!! Staff was warm & welcoming. Hands down, they make the best quiche ever, melt in your mouth!! My son loved the grilled Italian Deli. The pickles were delicious with a litle spicy kick. Definitely a favorite place to go while in Astoria!

First time there, and I choose the bagel and lox. It came with whipped cream cheese, capers, onions, red pepper, cucumber, radish, celery and mixed greens. It was absolutely delicious, and that’s coming from a New Yorker, I’ve had some really good lox in the past. Also great drink selection, non-alcoholic and alcoholic options. Would recommend!

I love the coffee and their breakfast sandwich is to die for. Especially the sausage. Definitely a regular spot for me!

This place is rapidly becoming my "office". Wonderful energy in a beautiful old space with great coffee and baked goods and some real cuties working the counter. Love it.

I have a small business inPortland that has taken over my home... and I can't seem to Every few weeks I head up here, and park myself in the window with a notebook and a laptop for hours upon hours. The staff is gracious and friendly. The music is never too intrusive or loud. They make a mean latte. The food is not to be missed.... it is much more than the usual coffeehouse fare of baked sweets (though they have plenty of those too). My personal fave is the locally smoked salmon lox and bagel platter. I stay in the attached Commodore Hotel... and the smell drifting up to my room upon awakening every morning is amazing. It is like living in a home where someone gets up before you to make pancakes. *sigh

We've eaten there two days running. If I lived in Astoria, this would definitely be a regular spot for coffee or lunch.

A really cool cafe. Coffees and sandwiches were great and the staff were super helpful.

If you're looking for an awesome place to grab a cup of joe, gather with friends, or simply sit with a cup of tea and read, look no further! My husband and I stumbled upon this cafe while in Astoria one Sunday morning. We were immediately greeted with a big "Hello!" and smiles. We split the omnivore quiche, ordered 2 pumpkin bites, and I got an earl gray tea. I eat my share of eggs and pumpkin everything, but this was the best quiche we've ever had (and we have farm fresh eggs at our ranch in Colorado) and the best pumpkins bites! Not only that, but everyone was super friendly, there was tons of seating, and the atmosphere was so cozy on this fall morning. We'll definitely be back soon!
