Gourmet experience, affordable price! Lots and lots of gluten-free options. Very helpful staff. Honestly one of the best lunches I have ever had. The atmosphere is cozy in the back of the restaurant, nice and bright in the front. Pure delight.
We had:
GF Rogue quesadillas (oodles of blue cheese and buffalo chicken)
Chicken nachos (tasty, crispy, good barbecue sauce)
Curry Quesadilla (apples, walnuts, chicken, cheese, And the best damn honey mustard I’ve ever tasted in my life.)
Chips and salsa are great too, love the red white and blue chips, the salsa is fresh and cold and refreshing.
The gentleman who took our order was most helpful, professional and very sweet.
If I could give 10 stars I would! A word of warning, if you come here you’ll want to come back again and again.

Great little walk in cafe! Neat and clean menu. Staff was attentive and helpful. Food was delicious. The interior feels modern and natural! Will be coming for lunch more often.

Another personal favorite. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. I had the Santa Barbara Club today. Fresh ingredients with basil made for a nice dinner. All the staff are wearing masks. Teona and Paul are great people and they are often the first service job for many local young employees. They are currently offering part of the Supper Club menu as well.

I would give this 7 stars out of 5. Absolutely blown away by how phenominal this food was. Most notable is that caramelized peach salad with the mango vinagrette dressing, which is an experience to eat.
When I decided to order from here I was having trouble deciding where to eat and what I was in the mood for. Quesadillas seemed like a pretty good idea. They are all so unique and well developed in flavors. The best decision I ever made was settling on the Mona Lisa quesadilla, which came with fresh tortilla chips, salsa, and a divine pesto-ish dipping sauce.
Staff was awesome and friendly. I was a little early to pick up my order after calling it in for takeout so I had a chance to hang out and look around. The vibe was awesome and I had to restrain myself from ordering all of the desserts they had displayed.

I went there hoping for an awesome sandwich and soup at the Urban Cafe, but they changed to a quesadilla joint. Same owner, and they were good...but just not what I was hoping for.

Hadn’t been here since the name change and renovation and very happy to say it’s still a great establishment. The staff is very friendly and ready to ensure our meal was satisfactory. Great choices on the menu, generous portions and fair prices. Glad the business survived Covid and we will definitely becomes regulars again.

Yum! We needed a late night dinner the day after Thanksgiving as we are in town visiting for a few days. Stumbled across this place and very happy the place down the street wasn't doing take out! Quick and friendly service, really great quesadillas and chips! Greatly appreciate how the food was not greasy!

Food was FANTASTIC!! Chill fun place, good atmosphere! Has a bathroom that is nice and clean. I got the Mediterranean. It was awesome! Green salsa is great!

In the last 22 years of patronizing this amazing establishment, I have NEVR been disappointed. The way they have shifted and changed with the times and demands of the public and economy is admirable and they have done it so well. The quesadillas are delicious. The strawberry lemonade-still tastes the same as when I was in high school, and the caramelized peach salad... You really must try it!

Many of the sandwich options looked really good and I’m not here to only compliment the flavor of delicious sandwich I chose (the chicken one), but also to compliment the waiter who answered my questions about the sandwiches and their popularity. They kindly gave me information until I made my choice. We were regularly checked on during our meal in a non invasive or interrupting way. Our table felt private, the environment was calm and nice, clean and chill. I will go back next time I am in the area. Refills were prompt and we felt paid attention to. They altered the menu item to suit my girlfriend’s diet. The food was good, but the service made the experience.

I had the shrimp quesadilla and a side salad. I washed that down with iced tea. It was all delicious! My shrimp tasted really fresh. My salad had just the perfect amount of ingredients and dressing. My iced tea glass was rimmed in sugar and had a fresh lemon and lots of ice. I've had this meal many times and it never disappoints. The servers were friendly and quick. And I love the funky decor!!!

Specials which may go on the menu were delicious. 4cheese fondue with bourbon shrimp! Mm and Cobb sale! And beef stroganoff too with a to die for carrot cake for dessert. Our waitress Faith was gave excellent service.

We had lunch there on Sat - height of tourist season. We were able to seat ourselves and the service was great! I had 1/2 turkey sandwich and a cup of New England clam chowder. Very generous sand which - delicious! My husband had their burger and fries- great food - service and atmosphere. Would definitely return.

We have always had a good meal here. The menu is interesting, with many choices you will not find anywhere else. Today my wife had the Curried Chicken, Apple and Walnut Quesadillas and really liked it. I had their Friday Special, Cajun Halibut Tacos and also really like my meal. I also had a starter of a cup of Clam Chowder, which I liked. <br/>You order and pay at the counter at lunch and they give you a fake fruit with a number on it to mark your table. <br/>We will continue to eat here.

Greeted with color, zest, and charm. The food and decor echoed perfectly. Split the 10" Greek Quesadilla and House Garden, and Clam Chowder. Loved it.

The food was great, however my parents were in visiting from across the country so I wanted to show them some great restaurants in the area. My dad's older an is a picky eater but wanted to go with the flow he simply requested the steak sandwich but plain as in just with steak... The waitress looked at him like he had 3 heads this does not go over well with me his protective daughter.. she asked some odd questions an then I simply asked what kind of steak they used? She looked exasperated and had no idea... Being a waitress at one point I was shocked at the treatment we got at least offer to run an ask the chef I would've!...it's a shame this cute restaurant I used to love.

Don't care about your business. I have eaten here a few times, and the food is pretty good. The problem is that they don't care about your business.....and they make no apologies for it. I asked them to deliever a lunch (they do deliver), but they refused because it was literally 1 minute outside their "delivery area". I was paying top dollar, tipping big, and the lunch was for 15 people. I won't be using them ever again; the person on the phone was not only....not helpful.....clearly didn't want to be on the phone, and couldn't wait to get of the phone.

Friendly service. Our second time in they remembered us. Food tastes wonderful. I enjoyed a flatiron and husband had the half pound steak quesadilla. Very flavorful and filling. I would recommend this to everyone!

YES. Husband and I shared the house salad, clam chowder, and flat iron steak. They didn't have the mashed potatoes ready :( but gave us several options. We swapped in pesto fettuccine with bay shrimp. I think we lucked out, because it was great!! <br/>Another day I had the 1/2 BBQ chicken quesadilla. Tasty. <br/>Funky, causal decor. Friendly, sharp server. Will put it on my list for the next time I'm in town.

Very tasty entrees, the meticulous preparation was quite evident, and a lovely presentation. The reasonable prices and friendly waitstaff made for a very pleasant and memorable lunch. We will definitely be back!

The food was good, generous portions and a good selection including vegetarian choices. The service was extremely slow. We had a salad, a quesadilla and a child's grilled cheese and it took nearly 40 minutes. The place wasn't overly busy. Fun decor.

NOT vegan friendly. I'm not sure how this restaurant is listed as vegan friendly. There are more vegan options available at Burgerville. The wait staff didn't get it at all. They assured me the soup of the day was vegan (and it probably was) but then they served it to me with grated cheese and a blob of sour cream on top. The one and only cheese free meat free item on the menu was chips and salsa. If you are looking for a friendly vegan meal, do not look here.

Best salads on the northern Oregon coast. Moved to area 3 yes ago fm calif and thought I would never have a good salad again. Love the Urban Med Spinach Salad w/ Chicken added. It is the locals #1 favorite for lunch.

Only get into Astoria a few times a year on business. Used my iPhone urbanspoon app to find a different place to have dinner. What a remarkable place this is! Enjoyed the quesadilla with crab immensely. Just wish that I had not ordered the delicious soup, too. I was very hungry when I ordered, but the portions were large enough that our table could have shared. Will definitely go back to this spot on my next trip. But, I am still a little bummed that the menu hasn't been posted yet. The waitress said she had an iPhone and promised that she would post it, and hasn't yet. My photos of the menu would not do this excellent establishment justice. Go here if you are in Astoria. Enough said.

AMAZING. Their house salad is to die for. I'm not much of a salad person but almost every time I go to the Urban I get the house salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing! THE BEST DRESSING IN THE WORLD... I promise.
