This was our second stop in Astoria. We did not order any food, just shared a flight. I really liked the location, clean and welcoming. The bartender was helpful and quick to pour our flight. I also really like their branding and labels. The beer was good although I would have liked some darker options.
Location was fine but nothing spectacular. Beer was good, lots of IPAs which I'm not crazy about but was generally delicious. Highlight was the salad with hazelnut balsamic dressing and clam chowder, or was the highlight the cheese curds with pepper jam? Either way the food was outstanding.
We ordered the tempura batter rock fish fish and chips and fishwich sandwich with a bowl of clam chowder and side of coleslaw. Plenty of spicy condiments to accentuate the experience and IPA's to quench your thirst. No stouts. The chowder is heavy on cream and the razor clams chewy. The rockfish is flakey and delicious. Very congenial staff and upbeat musical stylings.
What a fun place! My buddies and I only had beverages, but there was plenty of space, inside and out. I loved the open rafters and how bright and airy the place was. They had lots of merch available and what looked like a decent menu. Check it out if you’re in town!
Friendly fast service, nice tap list, the strong gale beer and cream ale were both excellent. Chicken sandwich and side salad was very tasty. The clam chowder was good, the fried cheese curds were a bit weird as a number of them had no cheese just air , not sure how it happened. Nice vibe and cans of beer to go. Worth a visit if you love beer.
Called in here for some lunch and a pint, newly refurbished pub as their normal establishment on the water front was being rebuilt. The staff was very friendly and food and beer was very good, tasty and plentiful.
New location but still has the same great beer. Gender neutral bathrooms and the whole place has an easy, laid back atmosphere that was wonderful. The food is just as good if not better! A good stop no matter the reason!
Amazing food!!!! I had the rockfish Sandwich and clam chowder and ate all of it. Service was great too!
First visit here and I felt so welcome and safe here. Knowledgeable staff, good came out quickly and everyone here was so sweet and friendly. Great tuna fish sandwich and fish and chips as well as pretzels. I was able to get everything made without dairy and it was so easy! I'll be back soon. The cream ale is nice and smooth and the red ale is not too hoppy with a slight bitey finish.
Order at the bar and food brought to the table. Soda pop comes in a can. I had the fish and chips, chips seasoned well and tasty, fish was very good. Salsa and chips appetizer was very good. Seating is in well lit space with natural light through large windows offering views of the busy sidewalk and street. The bathrooms are gender inclusive. Very large selection of local craft beers and cider. Very nice place to meet and visit friends and acquainted new and old.
