Excellent place, I went to see my friends Blink 182 cover band and the place was popping - unfortunately the AC could not keep up and it was swampy but it worked out well for me as I listened from outside and still had great service and experience.

Over all it was a good experience. They have some delicious beer. I can not speak too much about the food since I was there for a work invent and they had buffet style food for us. The bartenders were very friendly. Really good service.
Nice, Saturday evening had some beers a double cheeseburgers with parmesan truffle fries. Was listening to Celtics music followed by a Dj at 10pm. We also played some darts. Overall had a great time and will return.
We went on a Sunday morning and it was really quiet, so it was perfect! We stopped in for a quick drink. They had a soccer game on. It seems great for a quick drink before or after work, or a place to hang out with friends if you live near it. The bartender was nice and their prices were reasonable.
I had low to medium expectations about the food since this is a bar before it became a bar-restaurant. The taco fries were so good and so are the chicken sandwich.
Great, authentic Irish pub. Friendly staff, crowded bar scene, music is fantastic. This is a small narrow pub, but if you get here early and grab a spot in the back, you're in for a real local Irish seisuns treat!

We were on Steinway looking for a bar to check out and our friends suggested The Wolfhound as they consider it the best bar in Astoria and honestly it checked all the boxes: perfect size, low key, super friendly, and good drinks. Even the nachos were really good. Best bar in Astoria!
