I went on a little pizza tour and by pizza tour…I mean I just walked around New York City and found the nearest pizza places to see what was good.

It's a small family owned business good pizza authentic New York slice for those if you who are picky also they have good garlic knots and penny pasta price is average for the location

The owner was kind and welcoming. He makes the best garlic knots I’ve ever had in my life!!! The size and texture is aldente. I grew up in little Italy and with Italians my entire life; therefore, I’m picky with Authentic Italian Cuisine.
They make an excellent slice. Pizza is perfectly thin, enough crisp to support the slice and a tomato sauce that is tasty.
Delicious slice made to order. Lots of slices to choose from. I ordered the veggie slice and as you can see it was packed full of veggies. Served piping hot.
After a rough day of travel, we were in desperate need of some authentic NYC pizza so we decided to walk here. S&S is a rather small place but it was some of the best pizza I've ever had. We decided to order a half pepperoni half cheese pizza. S&S has very limited seating but we decided to eat there
S & S Calabro is practically an institution in in this Astoria community and possibly the best pizza in the area. With it's uniquely thin pizza style, zesty sauce and just the right amount of cheese, you won't be able to just eat one. I highly recommend this pizza. A MUST TRY.
Very nice place with great pizza. The owner is very pleasant and nice if you have the chance and decide to stop in and eat there. I decided to order there on the spot and I got to see the pizza get made in front of me, from the dough being shaped to the toppings being added.
