5 of us had dinner at the Atorian and it was excellent. Among us we had the best burger, whiskey pickles, sweet potato medallions, wings, Hot Roast Beef, and winter salad with chicken. Everything arrived quickly and was delicious. The cocktails and beer selection was very good. Atmosphere was rustic and cozy, not too loud. The only thing I would change is a little bit more light over tables so I can see the great menu and the terrific food more easily. Service was friendly.

The cocktail game in Astoria, Queens has a new player. And they're serious. Serious about ingredients, serious about taste, serious about presentation and value. The bar menu an inspiring collection cocktails for every pallet and mood. The Broadside Fix and Hibiscus Mistress get top scores. They even have a few vegan-friendly options. Super engaging and knowledgable bartenders. There are at least 20 craft beers on draught easily viewable on the cool digital display board. Oh, and the food is also amazing. Small plates, and larger entree's beautifully done and delivered. The Bánh Mì Ripper and Picnic Fried Chicken were fantastic. Go to Astoria and check out the Astorian!

The drinks here are really serious!! They have signature drinks and they are really strong. I can't remember the name of the drink that I got, but the bartender helped me out by asking what type of liquor I like and if I was into chocolate and cherries. I said yes and he whipped up this drink that had me a bit tipsy with just one. I was with my three friends and we ordered the way we usually do. A bunch of things to share. We got Mac & Cheese, Wings, lamb kofta and a burger to share. Everything was so very good. The lamb kofta was especially good because they were juicy, seasoned so well and came with 2 sauces on the side that were so tasty that we ordered another order. One sauce was a red pepper sauce that I'd love to replicate. The Mac & Cheese was really creamy and cheesy. Wings were a bit too big for my liking and they were the whole wings rather than them being split in half. They had good flavor and were cooked well. Sometimes wings can be soggy but this was not the case. The burger was cooked just the way we asked for and the fries were a generous portion and were hot and crisp. Service at the bar was great and on our way to our table, but then as the place got more crowded we seemed to be a bit rushed by the guy serving us.

I post photos of clean plates, instead of the food, to indicate just how delicious the food is. I've eaten almost everything on the menu, and have pretty much devoured it each time (warning the scotch bonnet sliders are super hot!) -- I think that's the only thing I wasn't able to finish b/c my mouth just couldn't take the heat! The Honey Badger is probably my favorite cocktail there, but they have a great beer selection as well. The chicken biscuit sandwich is probably my favorite sandwich on the menu, but the Cuban, the bacon burger, the fish tacos, the sweet potato medallions; I mean just everything is delicious. Eat there!

I consider myself so fortunate to live 1 block away from this bar. I have been going since the week it opened - and I normally like exploring and checking out new gastropubs and restaurants. But The Astorian's ambience, food, and cocktails are so good that I want to bring all of my friends in to experience it. The Opuntia Daiquiri is easily one of my favorite cocktails of all time, to the point where I had to talk myself through ordering something different last night, for a change. I chose the Amelia Earhart, and wow, was that a great choice! The quality and flavor of the food options are well above your typical pub fare - really interesting fusiony flavor combos, like the chicken teriyaki soft shell tacos and curry pot pie spring rolls (both on current menu). Staff is always helpful and fun! Trivia and movie nights are hilarious. It's just such a great, subtle spot to enrich the neighborhood!

Amazing drinks, great vibe, and plenty of fun games to play with friends while you're having drinks! Plus plenty of fun events during the week. They even have drinks that donate towards charity! One of the only bars I go to anymore 💖

The Astorian is a chill lil spot, good for dates and to catch up with friends. Didn’t have food this time but my cocktail was amazing.

Love it here! The cocktails here are top notch and the food is delicious. Especially the sliders. I did my birthday here for about 50 people in the space upstairs and Bobby, the manager, helped me make it perfect. The bartenders really know what they’re doing, I always enjoy myself when I come in. Definitely recommend for cocktails, food, and for hosting private events.

Very hip bar with a good crowd. It's right by the subway so the location is solid too. They have a great selection of beer that are reasonable priced. The staff was incredibly friendly and the honey balsamic chicken sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I've ever had and I don't say that lightly! My only complaint is that the jalapeno peppers weren't that hot, but that is just being nit picky. I love the place and will definitely be back.

I love coming here by myself on Friday evenings sometimes. The vibe is mega chill and you feel extremely comfortable sitting at the bar by yourself. As a female, that's important to me. Bartenders know their drinks too! I asked the bartender to recommend a drink from their menu based on my tastes and he did a nice job. The food is delicious, I recently had their pizza, it didn't disappoint. Crunchy and delicious. They have a fireplace upstairs that I've yet to try, but will be venturing there soon. Overall, a really great bar!

This place rocks! Great selection of beer, great cocktails (try the ugly sweater or basil instinct if they're on the menu). By far my favorite thing is their food. Holy moly, the kitchen is open pretty late and it consistently churns out delicious meals at a great cost. My girlfriend lusts after their Mac and cheese and I absolutely crave the Parmesan chicken wings. Can't recommend this place enough!

Cool two-level spot. Great bar with large beer selection and cocktail options. Food menu is a little scattered but food is well-prepared and tasty. They recently added skee-ball which is a fun addition. Nice servers and bartenders. Average prices for the area.
