They food here was pretty good. The plantains weren’t overcooked or greasy which I find a lot of restaurants do. The Cuban sandwich was great, they put a garlic sauce on the bread that goes great with the pernil. The chicharrón de pollo was pretty good, I did find some pieces were fried a bit too lo
AUTHENTIC CUBAN FOOD❤️❤️❤️ I’m upset that they are closed down. They food was so good everything on the menu was good. I feel like if they was in a better location they would get more customers. Astoria really didn’t deserve this restaurant respectfully.
Generous portions, great food at a cost that does not bite your wallet or pocketbook. Owner is Javier and he does a great job. Very disappointed to see the doors closed. Just got back from Fla. and was looking forward to pernil.
I had the Red Snapper Fish Sandwich w/ a guanabana juice. Both were very tasty!
The food is great if your looking for authentic cuban food this is the place great dining experience inside the restaurant also has a delivery service through seamless or grubhub an great for caterering parties and events
Unmatched customer service! Best Cuban food I’ve ever tasted. This business is sadly closing its doors soon. This will be a huge loss for the community. Please support your local businesses. Service and food of this quality is hard to find so kudos to the owner and best of luck!

We ordered take out, and I got the oxtail with rice and beans and it was awesome! The guava cheese empanada was also very good. My husband for the chicken chicharron, which was unfortunately overcooked and very dry. We would definitely order there again.
This place is fantastic. The ropa vieja is some of the best I have had anywhere in city. It's also a massive amount of food so I get at least two meals out of it every time I order. Such a good deal. I've only ever picked up food but every time I'm in there the staff is super friendly. I would post
Good food with a lot of choices. Bring a big appetite, the portions are very large. Try the carrots you will be pleasantly surprised at how different they taste. Loved them!! Service is top notch, friendly and personable. We like to come here for that Cuban flair when we visit NY.
