Food was pretty good and the staff were super friendly. Great authentic Cuban vibe with artwork and memorabilia. Stopped by during lunch hours and the place was empty, but they were filling a lot of delivery and take out orders. One downside was that there was only one bathroom so the wait time was super long as it was shared between customers and staff.

They food here was pretty good. The plantains weren’t overcooked or greasy which I find a lot of restaurants do. The Cuban sandwich was great, they put a garlic sauce on the bread that goes great with the pernil. The chicharrón de pollo was pretty good, I did find some pieces were fried a bit too long. The Cuban rice was seasoned really well but I did find the texture a bit mushy. Great customer service here as well, I will be coming back in the future and recommend this place to anyone.

AUTHENTIC CUBAN FOOD❤️❤️❤️ I’m upset that they are closed down. They food was so good everything on the menu was good. I feel like if they was in a better location they would get more customers. Astoria really didn’t deserve this restaurant respectfully.

Generous portions, great food at a cost that does not bite your wallet or pocketbook. Owner is Javier and he does a great job. Very disappointed to see the doors closed. Just got back from Fla. and was looking forward to pernil.

I had the Red Snapper Fish Sandwich w/ a guanabana juice. Both were very tasty!

The food is great if your looking for authentic cuban food this is the place great dining experience inside the restaurant also has a delivery service through seamless or grubhub an great for caterering parties and events

Unmatched customer service! Best Cuban food I’ve ever tasted. This business is sadly closing its doors soon. This will be a huge loss for the community. Please support your local businesses. Service and food of this quality is hard to find so kudos to the owner and best of luck!
