Review Addy's Barbeque - Astoria

I went there few times with my family as always the service is great and the food is outstanding. The special dish entree short ribs were enjoyable. My wife likes mishkaki and I always go for the steak. My baby loves the mushed potatoes and fries. They are very warm welcoming, nice environment, very clean, planning to go back soon. Highly Recommended in Astoria. 😊

Delicious! We were taking a small trip in Queens and just needed something to eat when we arrived. We walked past this place and said let’s give it a shot. We ordered a 1/4 pounder cheese burger each and got an order of fries and two drinks, total came to just under 30$. The burgers were SO good. Very decadent and flavorful. So juicy. Our serve was a really sweet lady. It had a very family oriented feeling plus it was Halal. They had some cool desserts and drinks available too. The fries were good but nothing too crazy. I would definitely eat here again.

Authentic Halal American BBQ right here on Steinway with a twist of Kenyan dishes. A variety of Burgers, beef Short Ribs, angus beef Steaks, sandwiches and chicken wings with so many flavors to offer. With a side of Mango Lassi, Falooda and Addy’s special sodas you’re bound to give their new management a shot.

food tasted good but was surprised to see the quantity and price of some items. the butterfly shrimp is $14.50 but only six pieces are given. bacon cheese fries are $17.50. guess this place is $$ for a reason but wouldn't come back as often. we were the only ones there at the steinway place on a sunday afternoon so our orders came quickly and judging by the other two groups that came later, they also got their stuff quickly. their bathroom is gender neutral and also has a hand held bidet, which is quite amazing.

This was a quick stop by and I need to go back to fully experience this place. Addy’s BBQ was absolutely delicious. The location provided indoor and outdoor dining. The seating arrangements were very comfortable as well. Though the space looks small, it was large enough to hold multiple parties and still provide some intimacy. Though I was there during downtime, it quickly got busy and my server was a bit overwhelmed but she did a fantastic job. Overall I will come back here to experience it once again. Food: BBQ Beef Ribs - 10/10 - OMG OMG OMG. Yes 3 OMG for this meal. Wow. What a succulent and delicious meal. The tenderness of these beef ribs was unreal. You can tell it was well cooked but not burnt, it was not over seasoned nor was there an overwhelming amount of bbq sauce. I loved how soft the meat was and how easily it was to chew and swallow. I recommend this to anyone who is a beef lover. The cornbread was okay, my wife makes better, forgive me I am bias. The deep fried onions were not my thing, so no real comment on them. The sweet potato fries were just that sweet and delicious nothing to review on that. Overall this meal is absolutely fantastic I can not wait to try something else when I go back. Total spent on meals 30 dollars

Originally went there for their steaks but had to try the other items on the menu as well. Their appetizer spicy wings are very yummy! Everyone on the table finished it within 5 minutes! The chicken mishkaki was great tasting as well. The burger was yummy. However,the steak was just dry and very very average. Had high expectations for it but well was quite disappointed. Overall,not a bad place but if you're going for the steak only I'd suggest look some place else?

I am a big fan of meat. Let's start by saying that the place here is spotless, their food is very delicious, and its quantity is far more than its given price. I have tried food around here but during this travel and I spent my two days having my lunch here. I am doing Keto diet, and the Chef happily provided me with food that follows all the guidelines of keto, he is of an excellent manner and taste, I had the chance to chat with him, and he was a delightful person.

Wonderful service, those garlic wings are amazing. Steak was perfect! Lobster Mac and cheese soooo gooey and the cheese pull is 👌👌 Mango lassi on point! Loved it!! Will be back soon.

Great all around! We started off with a mango and Pina colada Lassi, both creamy and flavorful! Moved on the garlic wings, the sauce so good I was spooning it up at the end! 😩 For entrees we got the Amarillo Burger which had a cool presentation and delicious sauce! The Mixed Mishkaki was very tasty as well, even though I liked the chicken a bit more. Loved that it came out on a sizzling skillet! For sides we got the Mac n ciheese...super cheesy and good as well! Super stuffed afterwards with lunch for the next day. 🙂 Will try the other menu items next time around, so many great options! Servers were very helpful in helping me choose what to get. Definitely recommend!

I was walking along Steinway when I stumbled upon this restaurant. I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in. After looking through the menu, which had so many great options, I ended up getting Beef Short Ribs (which were sooooo tender!) and Mac n Cheese with Beef Bacon. The food was amazing! To wash it all down, I had one of their Addy's Specialty Drinks, Strawberry flavored. Also delicious. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of their menu.

It is difficult to find a halal spot that serves American Entree’s in N. Y, but Addy’s Barbecue in Astoria has it all starting from wings, mac n cheese, burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas, steaks, short ribs, and chicken/beef platters. I ordered the garlic wings, Addy’s House Burger, and the Pina Colada. Everything so was flavorful and on point. The presentation for the burger was cool and the meat was tender and juicy. Not a fan of mushroom, but this burger is an exception. The service was great and Addy, the owner and chef was extremely friendly. This is a great place to stop by and enjoy your meal if your in Astoria.

The food & service is outstanding! We was a group of eight people, ordered chilly cheese burger, Beel platter, crispy chicken sandwich, chili cheese fries… mango bubble tea! Loved this place, foods are yummy

One of the most amazing halal spots in Steinway! Their customer service and food was 10/10!!! We ordered the bbq ribs, mac and cheese, coleslaw, chicken mishkaki (sizzling dish).

Delicious! Very flavorful and filling. Would recommend for the whole family. Appetizers Onion rings- delicious Masala fries- soft and well seasoned garlic wings- heavily flavored, crispy, my favorite! jalapeño wings- the spicy flavor is well distributed throughout the flavoring and perfect for those who like spicy food! chicken tenders- great for picky kids! Personally was my least favorite fried chicken version (liked the country fried the best and the crispy chicken sandwich second) Entrees Chicken Mishkaki- came out sizzling, had good flavor, came with rice, coleslaw and salad Country Fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The sauce was DELICIOUS. The mashed potatoes were creamy. Will come back for this! Crispy chicken sandwich- a mouthful, tasted great, came with an onion ring

The server was friendly and cool. I liked how the short ribs had a subtle sweetness and were soft. The Juicy Lucy was a massive portion that satiated my stomach. The Mac and cheese was decadent as well. Overall, would go here again. :)
