Delicious food!! Great service!! We got a free falafel to try the moment we walked in. Ordered 2 mixed platters and didn’t realize how big the portions were going to be. We loved the falafel so much we bought one of their falafel mix. I am excited to go back and be able to make my own falafel at home :)

I love this place. I have been ordering from them for years and they remain consistently delicious ! My go to is the falafel platter with white sauce on the side and WOW. 10/10. I tried their rice pudding for the first time and it was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness. The price is beyond reasonable for the generous amount of food included.

My friend and I got the chicken and falafel platter with basmati rice. It was a big portion but was perfect for the two of us. We stayed in to eat and they brought the food with forks, napkins, a plate, white sauce, and red sauce.
The food was absolutely amazing!!! My friend and I devoured it so quickly and could not stop raving about it. We are looking forward to coming back to try other items!

Just happened to pass by this place and went in because it smelled so good. They welcome you with a free falafel (delicious and perfectly fried). I ordered the Big Daddy which has half chicken half beef plate with their house sauces. Truly top 3 best beef plates I’ve ever had

There’s a reason they call it the king of falafel. Best falafel and shawarma out there. Not only does the food live up to the name but the service does too. Nothing has changed from the cart to the brick and mortar. Bring someone to eat with you because you’re going to get a platter that is stuffed to the brim.

Decided to give their storefront a try! Food is delicious as always! Ordered chicken shawarma platter as always! They have a decent area to sit down and enjoy your food but I did take out. Bravo to the chefs! Only thing I would recommend is the lady taking order needs to make sure orders going out are proper. I had asked for white sauce hot sauce and bbq sauce. When I got home I realized she only gave white sauce. Overall well done.

The lady at the counter handed us a falafel to try and it convinced us to eat here instead of our OG destination! We got the king appetizer plate and the “teaser,” a mixed meats platter to try everything. All perfectly seasoned and spiced, nothing dry, delicious, good prices.

the workers on their food truck on ditmars are undoubtedly the most kind, passionate workers I have encountered in my life!! My friend eats here a lot and as I stand by her waiting for her to order they always, ALWAYS!! give me a free sample of their food. There was this one time my friends and I were waiting for a bus and the owner stepped out n offered us free sample. This sort of gesture meant the world to us! as we were only teens n were very hungry at the time. Ignore all these one star reviews!! The people leaving those biased reviews are obviously for a lack of a better word, bullies!! Bullying a business over politics is immensely shameful. I will keep supporting their business 🇵🇸🇵🇸✊🏽✊🏽

I left New York 7 years ago and I missed the chicken and rice I used to eat from this guys all the time, could not find something that matched it in Miami, came back with my wife now and had it and can safely say, flavor and deliciousness remains… really happy to have visited!

Awesome vegan and vegetarian options. Grape leaves, falafel and lentil soup are all vegan and very tasty. We have frequented the green truck since we moved here and will be ordering again from the restaurant for sure!

I've been to this place twice and its a decent spot with great Halal Food. Its not that big of a place but theres plenty of seating, each visit was in the mid afternoon and it wasn't busy each time. The place is organized, clean, and decorated nicely to represent the culture. 👍 I loved it. The cashiers are pretty direct in taking your order and the rest of the staff seemed nice, food was brought to my table in less than 5 minutes and Shawarma I ordered was delicious. No Parking lot for this place, and its right off the N train station. Great place to eat Halal food, I would definitely come again. Thanks and enjoy.

The falafel 🧆 was really appealing and full of flavour.
The chicken 🐔 shawarma and The Teaser which comes with all meat 🥩 was indeed fully flavoured and tasty.
Would for sure visit it again.
Just a suggestion if the owner sees it, “the rice 🍚 wasn’t too flavoured it was very bland/ sticky and yellow in color. I hope they change the rice recipe in future.

Really good food and friendly staff. We are always greeted with fresh warm falafels as soon as we walk in. Our orders are always made fast and the food taste fresh. I visit their broadway store often and pickup a meal from their food truck whenever I’m near Ditmars.

My absolute favorite. LOVEEEEE!!! It’s truly hard for me to not come here every single day. Huge and delicious portions. I always get the shawafel or a platter and it’s just so satisfying and tasty !!! The sauces are amazing too. I love the new garlic sauce

Oh man, this place brings back memories. I remember during my high school days this used to be a cart outside of the C-Town a block away. The food here is absolutely amazing, flavorful and just the right amount of spices. The amount of food they give you on one plate is a redicoulous amount, one person cannot finish a plate by themselves. The inside design is a bit tacky and cheap but it is clean. I highly recommend this place.

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon around 12:30pm and there wasn't really a line, so I got my food quickly. Off the back, I noted how pricey the food was. After taxes and a 3% credit fee, my combo shawarma platter over yellow rice was almost $16. I've never paid so much for a halal platter, so my expectations were pretty high, especially with all the good reviews this place gets. And now the good part; the combo platter from this place was by far the best halal food I've ever had in my life. After taking the first bite, I was amazed at how flavorful and tender the meat was. I've eaten halal food from many places throughout the city over the past 9 years, and none of those places could make meat as tasty as King of Falafel did. The rice itself was good as well, but the chicken and beef were the stars of the show. The food was so good that I would say it was actually worth the price. This place may be pricier than Halal Guys in Manhattan but they make WAY better food imo. Also, parking around here is pretty bad so keep that in mind.
