Sunswick 3535 - Astoria - Photo album

DELIVERY REVIEW -- I would honestly give this place more like a 3.5 since some things have been amazing like their chicken quesadilla that has a nice crispy tortilla and their breakfast burrito, but then there has been a really bad miss with their Mexican cactus salad (so soggy and bland). Since th
Great bar and restaurant! The poutine tater tots are amazing, the old fashioned chicken sandwich was awesome as well. Will definitely be back
A good bar should feel like a good pair of shoes, comfortable from the beginning. That's the way the crowd and amazing bartender Helen made me feel from the moment I walked in. Work takes me all over the place and I look forward to when I actually do have a free hour. Had so much fun in the one hou
Great atmosphere and friendly bar tenders. The nachos are huge so be prepared to share among a few people. Vegetarian tacos were also really tasty and filled with nice veggies. They also have a huge selection of beers on tap and in cans. Their outdoor seating is privately enclosed and intimate. I’ve
Cool bar, I really enjoyed the food when I got it, but not always an 8/10, sometimes a 6-7/10. Still very good. They have habanero mozzarella sticks, and the bartenders are great
Swung by for a flight of beer. Staff was friendly. Appreciated the flight numbers written in satisfyingly large chalk lettering, and the fairly wide selection listed on the large monitors. I'd prefer to see sour options and the selection listed on Untappd, which makes this a 4.5 stars from me that I
Sunswick is a fantastic establishment and a place that I adore. I am a local Astoria resident and I frequent often with my wife. This time around, I took my brother and we had beers while we caught up about life, work. The bartender joined in and we just talked away. For hours! This is what Sunswick
Awesome spot. Great selection of beers. On tap and in cans. Bartenders are cool. Dude with long hair is a gent. Nice guy. Come here often and always happy to see him when I walk in. Definitely recommend.
Came for after brunch brunch. Don’t judge. Everything was perfect. I made special requests for churros and they happily obliged.
Do you love beer? Do you love 80s rock? Do you love buffalo chicken tenders? If you said "Oh hell yeah" to at least one of the three, then Sunswick is the bar for you! This spot is located a block or two away from the Museum of the Moving Image, Sac's Place, Tacuba, and Kaufman Studios. If you hav
Friendliest staff! Fantastic poutine and great mixed drinks. Super beer selection on tap as well. One of my favorite places to stop in for a bite and a drink!
OMG. I would pass by this jewel and never gave it a chance. For some reason, I wanted to go somewhere that was quiet away from the 30th Avenue bustle. Great food, big portions, cozy atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Oh and don't forget to try the Churros desert. It's going to be a regular for m
Wonderful spot to grab a bite and a beer. The staff is so welcoming, especially Helen who was the one who served me. She was quick to greet me and assist with any suggestions. The menu is quite expansive for a bar, and they offer a variety of burgers as well as salads if you’re trying to eat lighter
Great place Great selection of beers and food was pretty good as well.
Sunswick burrito was fresh and huge .... great place can't believe I haven't come here before.
This is a gem of a bar. Covid safe and great pub fare. Helen of Troy, or Petunia (if you have a bad review) was the best and took the piss out the lads. Cheers!
Great local spot. Popped into in for late lunch so not terribly busy. Still, staff very friendly. Music was old school (Sinatra) lounge and TVs provides great views from anywhere in the bar. Will return again.
Great food and great friendly staff. I couldn't believe how huge the grilled cheese and soup was. I can eat but i couldn't finish it.
