Vibe is always good, servers are super friendly and attentive. Dani the bartender was amazing and super fast with the service. Had the Nachos & the burger, both very solid. A must try

Only got drinks and appetizers. Place was good but not too memorable of a pregame honestly. Not bad so it gets 4 stars but I didn't see anything worth becoming a regular at this place for. Good stuff though. Final verdict. I guess it can get one more visit.

This place is great for drinks and dancing. We visited on a Sunday night and enjoyed the DJ and robot man. The decor is impressive, but the drinks are overpriced. Avoid the wine—it's terrible. Still, a fun spot overall.

This is definitely a cool place if you want to have drinks and dance. We went on a random Sunday night , they had a dj and a robot man walking around. The place is very nicely decorated We had fun, the drinks are pricey for what they are. Don't get the wine it was absolutely horrible. But fun spot for sure.

The atmosphere here is great. Nice crowds and great service. Their empanadas are pretty damn good, specially with their guava sauce dipping. Their beer selection is also on point, but my go to drink is their Golden Derby.

They have a live DJ on the weekends and this weekend happened to be the celebration of Dominican Republic's independence day. The vibes and the bartenders were great! Pancho & Luis (I believe) were quick with their assistance. I ordered steak frites and a friend had a burger. Everything arrived in a timely fashion. It does get busy so head in early to secure a seat, and then order some drinks, some good food and get to dancing! They also have signature cocktails on the menu & great bar food options.

Great place to meet up for bar food & drinks. Hometown favorite of our family visiting from out of town. Great place to catch a game or two.

Been here a few times, loved it every time. Foods good, service is good, great atmosphere especially when the DJ comes in.... Best part, they got my fav brew on tap 'Newcastle Brown Ale'.... Ask for Zuzu to be your server, she rocks!

The worst place in Astoria. Terrible, indifferent, uninformed personnel, guaranteed to make you feel uncomfortable. They serve a pathetic excuse for food. Stay away, go to Break Bar instead, unless you are a masochist.

Great place to watch the games with friends! Their wings are my favorite.They also have an awesome jukebox.

Went here with a couple of friends as a group just to hang out. We were told that there was a boxing match (don't care for it) but the cover starts at 9pm. We get there at 8pm, and we're charged covers? That's pretty weak. Then, friend of mine orders steak tacos, and after a half hour, still hasn't gotten anything. We ask one of our very busy servers and he comes back 10 minutes later with chicken tacos. My friend in good humor says, "No, I ordered steak, but I'll eat these, and cancel my order." 5 minutes later, another server comes with steak tacos, and since they don't communicate with each other, catches an attitude with my friend and stared at him all night like he wanted to fight. So, never coming here again.

Was there once and whenever gonna be around will visit for great climate in and out - that's the way - see you soon !

Three Strikes, Your Out.... I used to go here fairly often, when they admitted they were a bar and not trying to be a fancy restaurant, I got to know a couple of the bartenders and thorougly enjoyed the atmosphere. I met many different people there, everyone was very friendly. Now, they got some new staff. One guy got a really bad attitude with me when I told him he brought me the wrong order. OH, AND WATCH YOUR MONEY... On two seperate occasions, I had to REQUEST for my change back when buying drinks, apparently the bartender assumed 2 Heinekens plus tip would come out to $20. The place has definitly changed, from a friendly neighborhood bar to a stuffy wannabee restaurant with greedy employees. I feel like I gave them too many chances. Im not going back here and I will NOT reccommend anyone else too either, there are plenty of other options in the neighborhood.

Excellent Services and food. We went there last week my friend and I and was great , excellent services we gat from Favio and good food <br/>but good food with out excellent service does't make people coming back to gleason's <br/>Congratulations guys good job

Fun and tasty. Popped into Gleason's just by chance for quick bit and beer. I was pleasantly surprised by the food; its presentation, and speed that it came to table. The staff was friendly and made me feel very at home. I will be go back. Sliders were great!!!

Pricey sub par pub food. Watch your change and ask for a receipt. Sticky finger bartender.

SUNDAY FUNDAY. The best Sunday Brunch around. Great staff and atmosphere. You will have a fun time!

Decent neighborhood bar. This place is alright. A lot of douchebags like to gather here for sporting events and you'll run into the occasional lonely creepy old guy, but it's alright if you're local and feel like a mid-week beer. The menu is a little over-priced for the quality but its your average pub food. Yep, this place is just about all around average.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! THE BAR TENDER WILL ROB YOU!. If you want to get robbed, literally, then you've come to the right place. There is a 40 something, white trash, woman bartender there who always seems to "forget" to give you back any change. I went there the other day with my friend-bought two beers, gave her a twenty and she never gave me back any change. I was waiting and waiting and she was acting like she didn't see me on purpose. After asking her again for my change, she went and brought my change minus two dollars! Whats even crazier, is that my friend had gone there a few days before and before I could tell him my story, he told me about how he ordered a beer, gave a twenty and she never gave him his change back. He let is go and ordered food, gave her a fifty and when he asked for change back, she gave some BS excuse about not having the receipt. He made a big scene and she finally gave in. Stay away at all costs from these crooks! someone should call the NYPD on them.

Good beer selection, ho-hum burger. Just came back from Gleason's and here's what we think.<br/><br/>Waitstaff is friendly, the beer selection is great.<br/><br/>The burger held a lot of promise - the menu indicated it was freshly ground, the bartender said it could be ordered rare, and since the menu also bragged up the quality of the steaks, the assumption was that it would taste a lot like ground up yummy steak.<br/><br/>The reality was that it came out cooked medium, and whatever meat they're using was pretty bland. It tasted very average in terms of beef quality, but on the plus side the portion size was good enough to split with a friend, the bun was toasted to perfection on the grill, and everything arrived promptly.<br/><br/>I wouldn't make Gleason's a go-to burger spot, especially for the $14 or so that it cost us (the prices could be about 20-30% lower across the board) when you can get most of NY's best burgers (in Manhattan, often) for under $12, but the menu had depth and it's a nice space - both deeper and wider than it looks from the street.<br/><br/>I'm sure we'll try it again, but there are a lot of new and a lot of amazing place in Astoria. If they want to be known for their food, they need to bring things up a notch.
