I love their food, I have been ordering from here for years now. I usually order the Pad See Ew w. Chicken and the Pineapple/Cashew fried rice w. Chicken, they're amazing dishes.!! Whenever I order the same dishes anywhere else they taste horrible, they look completely different and it's usually just an all-around bad experience. This Thai Diner may very well be one of the best in all of New York!

This is hands down the best Thai food in New York. I go all other places but this one always hits the spot. The menu is really good and the ambiance of this place is like a spa. You really have to soak it in when you go. Service isn’t fast because they make it all fresh and I am 100 percent ok with that. Parking is accessible too. Definitely go and get the duck.

Love it. Found this place not too long ago, quiet little spot with a great Buddha and jazz playing vibe. Very affordable as well. I've gotten the spring rolls and their peanut coconut curry tofu with broccoli and coconut rice. Delish I found it strange they didn't serve avocado..

Ordered through seamless. Got the green curry - really delicious and full of flavor. Asked for veggies instead of meat. Asked for no eggplant, got some slabs regardless. It was something I was able to overlook sort of. Literally hate slabs of eggplant in any prepared dish. Makes me want to dry heave into the sunset. So gooey for no damn reason. ::gulp:: Green curry overall KILLED the game. Overlooked the gross, unwanted eggplant. Pad Thai is my boyfriends go to (I know, how typical). It was damn good. Quick, reliable, friendly service. Hot food in a short time frame. Will definitely order from here again. Definitely recommend.

I've been coming here for a few years now and That Elephant is still my favorite Thai restaurant in Astoria. And thatst really saying something considering the competition it had on the neighborhood. The price per portion is pretty good without sacrificing on quality. The lunch special is a steal so if you're in the area, give the place a shot for it. It is a quieter place which is a nice change of pace compared to some of the louder/more tendier places. Great for when you wanna eat alone or look to have some conversations that can go anywhere with your friends/family. The decor and atmoshatmo are also quite nice. Nothing fancy, but still very much its own place. On to the food itself. I've tried a good chunk of the menu and am yet to be disappointed. Appetizers, soups, entrees, desserts, doesn't matter, they're all tasty and fresh.

This little place had some of the best thai dishes around. And they manage to do it without being greasy. Their Pad Kee Mao is wonderful. Their whole menu deserves to be tried. My only regret from moving to jackson heights from Astoria is I can't eat here as often as I used to.

I love love love this place. The lunch offerings are the right size and the right price. The staff is friendly. I believe it is family owned. I have been coming here for years and it remains my go-to for lunch Thai.

One of my regular lunch spots. Great lunch menu. If you like soft shell crab. Try their lunch special. $14 try it with garlic sauce. You will thank me.

After eating their Massaman curry chicken I haven't been able to enjoy Thai food from anywhere else. If they ever go out of business I will hunt down one of their cooks like a bounty hunter and make them teach me how to make it myself.

Good service. Quiet place to eat in an otherwise busy side of town. Possibly the best Thai on the Ditmars side.

The food is tasty and It's reasonably priced. It's not the best Thai I've had but it's far from the worst.

Pad thai was covered in real sticky sweet sauce. Not very good

This Thai restaurant has the best curry puff; the pastry is airy and fluffy.

Below Average. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere, however everydish I have tried (4) seemed to have a slightly burned taste to it, which I dislike.

Amazing food, great price. By far one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever visited. Amazing lunch special will leave you full on 6 dollars. Really good Thai Ice tea and delicious mango sauce for the house salad. Vegetarian friendly with some great tofu dishes, all cooked with lots of flavor into them. A+++

Can't beat it. Food with this flavor and this price is a great find in the nyc area. the service is always friendly and the good is plate scraping good.
