Clean and modern restaurant, the owner is also very friendly. I enjoyed the saganaki cheese and the gyro. Next time I’ll try different dishes. They also have a well stocked bar which is great.

We were in the mood for some Greek food today and happened to be in the neighborhood. The restaurant is really lovely and laid back. The servers are so nice and friendly. We ordered two gyro sandwiches, trio dip with bread and a Greek salad. Surprisingly, on a quiet Sunday afternoon, the food took a really long time to get to our table. We weren't too worried though as they gave us lots of complementary bread with olive spread as we waited. I thought the gyro sandwiches were very tasty and the dips were great but I was a little disappointed with the Greek salad. It was mostly tomatoes with a little bit of cucumbers, onions and three olives. Also I thought the price was a bit on the high side. Still it was a lovely lunch.

Apart from the warm and unbelievable service, this place has excellent food!! They make delicious Mediterranean dishes that truly bring us back to Europe. We’ve tried few dishes from their menu and so far everything has surpassed our expectations. Yummy food, great service. Surely we can’t wait to visit again!

I've been going to Brothers Taverna for several years, and must say that I've never been disappointed. It's always a great experience. The food is fresh, tasty, and plentiful - and the drinks are always good. They make a nice cup of cappuccino and also a great Orange Cake, which is excellent! A must try in Astoria!

The go to place for excellent meferranian food and amazing atmosphere. Make sure to order the meat platter for 4 and the fried green peppers. Yummm! The owner/host Zhuljeta is the most loving and caring person to be around.

Amazing food and great people! We love Mediterranean food, this is one of the only places where we have found traditional Kokoretsi and Roasted Lamb! One of my favorites is the Brothers pork sandwich, grilled salmon, and grilled calamari... the Kokoretsi is also really good... LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Have eaten here a few times, always good and attentive service. The holiday did not change it. Juliet and our waitress was also very helpful and accommodating. Food was also good, loved the roasted chicken!

All I can say is Lemon Potatoes and Cappuccino! Ok, that is two things but they are my favorite and for some reason they are excellent at this unpretentious Astoria joint. And diiippps! Don’t forget the awesome dips!

Wonderful service and food. Truly felt as if I was visiting my cousins restaurant and was taken care of as such. The food was so juicy and well seasoned. Even the bread tasted unique and that's where you can tell whether a restaurant is good or not. Prices are extremely reasonable. Cannot wait to come back. Definitely my new favorite spot in Astoria. Might even stop by for a delicious coffee in the afternoon if I'm not hungry!

I can't remember eating meat that was both juicy and tender, flavorful and strong. If you love meat, raw and delicious, maybe you might try this place. The prices are ordinary and affordable.
I've been there each day since they opened, the first day, twice. I kind of feel like the other places around town have meat that feels a little dirty but the meat here feels clean inside. I can't really describe the experience any other way.

Best gyro in NY. I recently moved from Greece and have been eating souvlaki for more than 30 years. Brothers gyro is one of the best I have ever eaten. The stuff and owners are so friendly, the store is clean and everything I have tried so far is delicious! A friend of mine suggested that place and I am glad he did!

Somewhat pricey for a gyro place. I did not intend to pay $92 for lunch for 2 people! Nothing spectacular to write home about. Be careful what you order, it adds up if you want a salad and an appetizer! Otherwise it was ok!

Brand New Restaurant. Very unique style of meat on spit roasting, done very well. Big portions and very friendly atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. My new favorite place in Astoria!
