I love The Ditty. Good for happy hour (you can get a classic cocktail for 10), movie screenings in the patio weekly, uplifting atmosphere, late night food (the kitchen goes through last call)and very nice staff. There’s a Mexican street style corn that’s is my favorite. Is good for groups and dates, birthdays (went there on mine).
My wife and I went to the Ditty last night for drinks. It was good, but none of the cocktails are worth to mention here. The decor is cute, and they have a backroom, which is suitable for large parties. Also, they have plenty of board games for you to have fun!
We recently (Dec 2023) threw our Baby Shower at the Ditty and we can’t recommend it more! Katie took care of us from our initial inquiry email all the way through the end of the event. She was there to answer all of our questions in a timely matter via email leading up to the event and she was there on the day helping to make sure everyone had a drink in hand and that the event was going smoothly. Our guests loved the food and the unique back space which we had all to ourselves. It was a charming chill event we envisioned and are so pleased with our experience here!
Attended a very sweet and fun baby shower last Saturday at the Ditty, Katie took great care of us, very attentive and so personable. Food delicious, service super efficient, atmosphere is chill, drinks great! I highly recommend the Head Honcho (cocktail) but only if the slushy machine isn't working, the hats are classic and make me happy. Every time we visit our son and his wife we visit the Ditty, this was the first private event we attended, highly recommend!
Went to a drag brunch at the Ditty and the show was so much fun. Loved the Drag Queens! The food and drinks were fine, I had a breakfast crunch wrap and vodka collins (the drinks could’ve been a little stronger). The service was friendly but a little lacking and I wish they had some sort of drink special. All in all, it was a fun day. PS: double check your checks if you go, we caught some mistakes with our bill.
Vibe-worthy pub bar with a small selection of table games and cocktails but eventually turning into a place that surprisingly comes alive with small cliques of different people at night. $12 a drink. 4.25/5 stars as a night bar.
Great Astoria bar. If you live in the neighborhood, the Ditty is a great place to hang out if you dont want to go to the city. The outdoor area is a good size and always fun. Bartenders have great drink recommendations.
I had heard about The Ditty from friends who live nearby and they are always saying how good it is so, when I was in the area with them, I suggested we pay a visit.
It is a cosy bar, friendly staff and a nice menu. As it was a Sunday there wasn’t a huge selection but what was available was great. We were sat in the little courtyard at the rear. It was quiet and peaceful. Good food, good drinks in a nice atmosphere. What more could you want?
They have about 30 board games and am NES with about 5 games set up at a tv sitting on the bar. Well stocked bar and really friendly staff. Food at brunch was great!
Wonderful drinks. Superb service. Great atmosphere.
I came here to watch the Superbowl and had a fantastic time. If you're in Astoria, I highly recommend dropping in for a drink and some bites. Definitely recommend coming for Happy Hour as well!
