Rosario's - Astoria - Photo album

Great feel in this place. Italian deli, store and is frequented by locals. Slice Rating Overall - 7.5 (the owner is an institution for sure) Sauce - nice tomato flavour & a little sweetness Crust - way too crispy Topping - right amount of cheese Cost - $5
Worth a stop right off the 6 train in Astoria. Went here on Action Bronson’s recommendation and the pizza was killer. Nothing over the top or fancy, just standard done really well. Great grocery options too.
Solid 9/10 plain slice. Thin, crispy bottom, chewy crust. Light flavor, good sauce with white mozz
Very nice salumeria! Originally been going to Sorriso along 30th Ave but this one has better options.
This pizza is as good as it gets. Super thin crisp crust, fresh tomato sauce and fresh in house made mozzarella cheese. You won't be disappointed.
Great pizza and all food is delicious here. Fried shrimp is amazing (my fave). Rosario is a stand up guy and his employees are very nice and respectful. They also have Kinder and Nutella chocolate which is a plus A+++. Great spot. Must check out, you will love it.
Feb 2023 Stopped by for a quick snack. We tried the ragotti cheese n ham calzone- delicious! We got a rice ball. The pistachio Gelato was vgood
Authentic Italian market with products imported from Italy, great sandwiches with a lot of flavor, pasta, and pizza. Looking forward to my next visit and will be buying my pasta and Italian products here!
This is one of the best Italian delis in a city of great Italian delis. The pizza is not really advertised but go to the left of the registers and you will see it if there is any. They have a nice selection of delicacies, mushrooms, meatballs, rice balls, etc. The sandwiches and fresh mozzarella ar
Great pizza. Plain pie taste the best. Margherita taste decent. The pepperoni pie isn't my favorite. Also good to order some sliced cure meat here as well.
Mozzarella and ricotta made on the premises taste super fresh, and for a only a few dollars per pound it's cheaper than supermarket cheese. The pizza can't be beat, and not only because it's made with fresh cheese. Everything they cook is perfect. And they have all kinds of products imported from It
Old school but most excellent deli - get the heros or pizzas here, truly amazing and you won't regret it! :)
My favorite neighborhood Italian specialty store! Delicious food, great service and of course, Rosario himself!!💜
It’s a nice place to get some sandwiches while shopping for an Italian inspired dinner menu.
Best slice of pizza we've had in Queens. Best had fresh inside the store. The chicken Parm sandwich is incredibly delicious, especially with some extra sauce (I can drink that sauce 😅). Love bringing our family and friends here and seeing their pleasant surprise reaction to a perfect slice in a groc
The jewel of Astoria! Best mozz and burrata in NYC. Fantastic selection of Italian staple goods and an entire WALL of great dried pasta. On this trip I didn't have time to wait for a pizza but they were flying out the door. Great staff, friendly, fair prices. Easy access to the Ditmars blvd N sto
Eggplant Parm is pretty yummy! Pizza is great too. It's a hidden gem. We didn't know this place existed but, we're glad we stumbled across it.
They don’t sell a single thing that isn’t delicious or fairly priced
