Svl Souvlaki Bar - Astoria - Photo album

Discover a hidden gem in Astoria, where I indulged in both the pork and chicken gyro, perfectly accompanied by their signature svl sauce—a delectable mayo, ketchup, and mustard blend. This spot is my top choice for authentic souvlaki and gyros in Astoria, conveniently located near the N train's Asto
Good spot to get some fast casual gyro platters and wraps. Their platters are generous- you’ll have left overs for a second meal, that’s for sure. Only complaint is that we wished they gave us more tzatziki. It came in a very tiny container and not enough in proportion to the rest of the meal.
Superb service. I’ve always wanted to drop by and today I finally did it and boy did I miss out. For $24 you get 2 beautiful chicken souvlaki pita sandwiches with EVERYTHING. Super fresh and delicious.
Shared the mixed plate for 2 with some friends. The portions were perfect and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. While small, the restaurant has a very comfortable layout that includes benched seating and a few loose tables to eat at in addition to stool seating at the counter. I’ll definite
Good greek food, they have a good playlist on, Bathroom is well taken cared of, seats are comfortable — all around à good time. I'd say you're spending anywhere from $15 to $20+ on food depending on if it's for one or 2 ppl. For a couple... I'd say +25 and up - drinks included
Best Greek food in town! The prasini salad is the best I’ve ever had. I come here about once a week and I’ve never had a bad meal. Their food is so fresh and the staff are great! Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a quick Greek meal in Astoria!
I loved the food it was fireeeee like fireeee my baby loved it, he stuffed his face, everybody should come.
On a holiday weekend came back from the city heading home to Long Island and was looking for something to eat. As I wanted some Greek food I saw the reviews here and said I can’t understand one place having so many reviews. After walking into the Greek music, the red boxes behind the counter, the in
Great food, great value. Lentil soup was close to the best we've ever had, fries were exceptional, the pita is different but really really good (especially with the spices they add to the Lentil soup accompanying pita). We also got two of the sticks - a ground beef and a lamb one - both tasty but ma
We found this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised!! Authentic Greek food, great prices and friendly staff. We'll be back!!
Best gyro I’ve had so far!! Hands down to the workers there! Emily, at the cashier was super helpful and recommended me the chicken gyro (in the picture) with their special sauce! It was delicious!! The chicken itself was amazing! Highly recommended for a fast food place!
Astoria has many Greek restaurants, but this is by far my favorite spot to go to for souvlaki and gyros. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Astoria Blvd stop of the N train. The vibe here is very relaxed, almost like a fast food restaurant but much, much nicer. You order from the cou
This is probably the best quality meat that you’ll find in NYC - I’m honestly so shocked on how good this place is. The mixed platter for 2 can easily feed 4 people and has a little bit of everything. This will definitely be one of my go to spots for Greek/Mediterranean food and already looking forw
Excellent Food! We ordered delivery (platter for 2). The food was very tasty and this platter had multiple types of meat, salad, pita, choice of side (we got regular fries), and multiple sauces. This will definitely be a future go-to meal.
Absolutely worth the time. The place is clean the service is good and the food is delicious. I haven't had a gyro that good in years. Minus the fries in it not a fan of that whole idea, I'm old school. Also had the Schrimp and vege sticks. Quite impressed.
